Ya, personally I don't think a Pot Forum is any place for Politics, but I don't own the site, lol.And I'll avoid politics. Not my jam.

Thank you!! Such beautiful girls! I hope mine are that pretty!I agree with Wiz 100%....instead of topping bend, them over and tie them down. If you put the plants top below its branches the plant has a hormonal change and bushes out more...then the main cola just becomes another branch.
This technique stresses them out very little and they barely miss a beat when it comes to growth. I've topped and lsted clones from the same mother, the lsted plants consistently vegged faster and yield more.
Here's one I tied down...

LST makes for a nice even canopy thus creating several nice cola sites. The same can be achieved topping, but in my opinion low stress training is the more efficient way to go.
You need to be a member for 48 hours and get likes from 3 different people. Just wait a couple days.Yeah, that's weird, but whatever, I'll just avoid it and stay in my lane.
I guess I haven't earned enough trophies to "like" your reply, but it's cool
Don't sweat the cartoon thumbs, they don't grow anything. In a very short time you will have full privilege's on the site. You have said thanks to folks, you're all good. Max is showing a great example of bending a plant. It is a very effective way of training. Topping, LST, it's all stuff you will play with as you go until you find your way. These are my current little ladies. Nothing I am going to win any awards for but they are ok for my little home grow. They were topped once. I am pretty pleased with how the little ones are frosting up.Yeah, that's weird, but whatever, I'll just avoid it and stay in my lane.

I felt it was a perfect mix of me and why I surf these boards lmfaoOk, Wizzlebiz has got you covered. I will say welcome to RIU. Hey @Wizzlebiz , I see you went back to you old avatar bud although I notice you added some alterations after. That's awesome. Bring on the monkey.
AwesomeI felt it was a perfect mix of me and why I surf these boards lmfao
I think you look much cooler now. Someone I'd want to sit down and share a banana with.I felt it was a perfect mix of me and why I surf these boards lmfao
I look less ape and more monkey!I think you look much cooler now. Someone I'd want to sit down and share a banana with.
Completely agreed, LST has always been the best way to go for me, never topping. All my plants are completely horizontal with the side branches becoming main colas. I incrementally train the top in a circle around the pot until I’m ready to SCROG. Great advice WizzlebizThere really is no need to top. You will continue to get new colas from LST. As new shoots pop out tie them down in different directions to gain even more colas.
Topping will stress the plant unnecessarily while not giving you nearly as much additional colas.
I personally stopped topping long ago.
You goal is more colas all at the same height while not slowing down the plants progression.
They look like they are coming along nicely, congrats.*Update* I backed off the nutrients for a bit as suggested and switched to 12/12 light schedule. They'll enter Week 3 of flowering on Sunday. Thoughts? Suggestions? Tips?

Thanks! I plan to go through the whole process of drying and curing. I'm sure it's still a couple of months away before they're ready to smoke or consume, but it'll be worth the wait. They look like they are coming along nicely, congrats.
Yes, it's a long game for sure but worth it in the end. Many come here for help, many are not smart enough to actually use the advise they are given so kudos to you. Thanks!
