whats up bozo here.
here is my VERY BASIC setup.
-large cardboard box
-2x 100watt cfl 6500k
-60 gal. water pump
-small fan
-shower rod
-chains
-4 port air controller
the box is 20"x24"x48"
the pump blows air into two intake ports on the airtech device. there are 4 export valves that can be lowered or heightened based on how much air you want going through a particular port. since this will function as a cloning set up, two air ports will send air into this tub, the other two ports will send air out of this box into a bigger tote where mature plants will be moved.
the fan circulates air, and since i rarely have to keep this box concealed, i didn't worry about using a venting system. The top and door usually stay open to circulate air continuously.
temp as shown stays mid-70's, humidity stays around 50%
down here is just what i've been doing to the plants, no more grow room details, but read it anyway
llllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll
VVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVV
i was just experimenting with these seedlings, feeling out this process, because the transplant was the main worry, making sure they took once i put them into my bubble system.
the SMALLEST plant was transplanted first, and the LARGEST was transplanted last. The reason im experimenting before i dive in to this is to find out stuff like this. the plants really need some time to get their root system going in the rockwool before being transplanted into the tote and being fed continuous nutes. the smaller two have been going for a good week with very little growth, although their root systems are still growing, the transplant pretty much killed these two.
the largest plant was showing signs of nute deficiency, the leaves were pale, so i adjusted the pH level that way the water would be at the proper conditions to deliver nutes to the plants. pH stays between 5&6. by adding nutes, vertical growth was successful, but it nute burned the bottom leaves pretty bad. im not going to flush it, the upper leaves look healthier, and these plants aren't staying around much longer as soon as my new seeds all germinate.
any hints or tips feel free, like i said, not trying to save these plants, but if u see something to help me on my next go round, feel free.
