branches breaking :(

main main branch broke, at the bottom so the whole plant fell over, where the 2 main cola split also cracked n split, wtf..

the plant was in flowering what was the problem guys? im assuming i topped the plant way too late, would topping very early help? so that the main stalk is lower to almost the dirt when they split. also i am watering every 2 days, i just added another eqpment to the room that caused a lot of heat n i could tell today the plants were dropy after a late day at work. could water also have something to do with this? would watering everyday or just more help?

My only guess is that they were stretching too much in veg, before they went to 12/12, then couldn't handle the extra weight of the flowers.

marijuana is a strong plant, mine broke at the base of the main stem, i split a piece of tubing , a straw will work, and spread it open and around my babie . she looked like the michilin man when it was done but it worked.. that was 2 months ago . wire that bitch up if you have to . good luck man . i top after about the fourth node .proper air circulation will help if you have humid air buildup, that heat and moisture will cause mold

^I agree with using some kind of support to hold it up. Buy some bamboo stakes, or wooden dowel rods, and tie up each branch if you have to, along with the main stem. The plant will repair itself, then finish out nicely.
