Branches for clones or not

The plant I intend to clone has quite a few branches with only one set of leaves (7-9 fingers). Question is can these branches be used for cloning, as those instructional videos I've watched at Youtube clone only branches with at least one node.
Edit: I googled around a little, and evidently you need at least one node to clone. Still, I think I might try with none this time.

No, you want 3-4 nodes on the branch you are going to clone.

The idea is that 1-2 of those nodes are placed underground and this is where the roots will grow.

Leaves aren't going to burst from the stem, if that's what you're thinking. You need, at the least, a growth tip and some leaf matter. You can clone with no nodes down below, I do it all the time. I do find that clones with more than one set of leaves tend to root faster than the small ones though. It may net you better results if you are able to wait a little longer.

The branches I'm talking about are the biggest on the plant, close to 7 inches in length. Thing is they haven't got any nodes (yet).

Something is almost certainly amiss, since this is my very first grow. Nevertheless I will take as many clones as possible and hope that like five of them survive.

If you have a growth tip on them, you should be able to get some clones. I was asking so we could try to help you rectify what's causing that much stretch though.

There it is. The lady that prospers the most. She I intend to clone. Height for today is around 10 inches, but I hope for some more before I start flowering.
