Brand new grower... I need some advice.

Hey there. I'm brand new and I've been growing my plant for about 2 weeks now (on Monday anyway). In the beginning I didn't have a strong enough light so she stretched a bit. About 3 inches. So I got adequate lighting and I buried the long stem to support her. She's in a proper AC Infinity grow tent kit (to be specific the 2x2x7) with all the bells and whistles. I've kept the humidity at about 70% and the temperature has ranged from 71 degrees to 80 degrees. She also has an oscillating fan in order to strengthen her weak stem. I water each time I notice the medium becoming dry on the top. It will change color from dark brown to beige. I'll put my finger about 1 inch down and make sure its not moist. After that I'll mist her with a spray bottle of regular water. The medium she's currently in is coco coir on the top and at the very bottom is Fox Farms ocean forest soil for when her roots can grow to it and use the nutes. The pot size is a 1/2 gallon nursery pot. About halfway through this week I noticed her changing color in a strange way. It looks like a nutrient deficiency but I cannot tell. Also I think she's a bit small for her age and was stunted due to the inadequate lighting early on in her growth. I made the mistake of giving her cal mag and clean kelp today about 1/4 tsp and a drop of kelp to be exact in a 1.5 liter spray bottle but I think I should have consulted some of you first to make sure that I'm right in assuming it is a nute deficiency. I also plan on beginning to transition from spray bottle to a regular watering can and watering in a circle around her base to encourage further root growth since she's so small. She's also on a vivosun germination mat to encourage rooting with the grow light about 3 ft up at 100% intensity. What do you think? Thanks!

Edit: I'll be transplanting into fox farms ocean forest soil as per everyone's advice. I have a 5 gal fabric pot so that's what I'll use. Here's hoping she perks up a bit!

Doing a layered approach like you're doing makes diagnosing problems harder. You have Coco up top that has zero nutes and Ocean Forrest in the bottom that is so nutrient dense it can burn some seedlings. I don't grow in Coco but it has a way different ph requirement than the Ocean Forrest does and it just sounds like a bad mix to me. The seeds tap root will hit the bottom of the pot way quicker than you were thinking in a pot that small.

Ditch the coco ditch the nursery pot. Water when the pot feels light only.

Use plastic pot and fox farm

Tbh I saw someone doing it on youtube who made it sound like a good idea instead of planting directly into a hot mix like ocean forest you'd slowly introduce. But I see what you mean.

If you plan to grow using soil just use soil. If your using Coco you have to either amend aka blend fertilizer into it OR feed it every time you water with liquid fertilizers. Keep in mind soil can require liquid fertilization especially if you aren't using a large enough pot but that will depend on the soil your using and how large you plan to grow the plants.
