Brasmith's Hi-jack grow: from seedling to smoke

Ya thats what I was thinkin. I need a mother that will allow me to cut 18 clones every 3-4 weeks. She is a healthy one with lots of side shoots and thick stems and stalk. thanks agian

Mary Xmas hope you enjoy seein how the girls look now. It has been awhile since I have been able to post to this journal because I have been away in NC for about 7 weeks and just returned in early December. I had to spend the first part of the month getting the girls ready for their updated photo shoot.

They have been flowering for about 4-5 weeks now and seem to be chunking up for harvest in about 4-6 more weeks. They smell heavenly, makes me want to eat them.

One thing for sure is they have dealt with a major spider mite infestation. Thye had them the whole time I was away but I would not let anyone other than me treat them, so I started a neem oil n dish soap regimen upon returning. The mites are nearly cleared up but it has proven to be a battle, they are some tough little shits.

The mother hijack is doing good as well she has recently given birth to her first set of 4 clones. They where cut about a week ago and still haven't rooted but are standing tall. These clones are my practice group, never cloned before. If they make it they will be ready for outdoor in spring.

Let me know what ya'll think. Any suggestions are welcome especially if they help the buds get fatter.

I was wondering were you went! lol nice updates dude. here's a much deserved plus rep for the green thumb. keep it up:leaf:

Thanks for the rep!

I was so happy to see the ladies after not seeing them for about 6 weeks, think I may have missed them more than home.

Have a nice evening.

Looking excellent.
very pretty girl's.
great job on you're part.
I hope you slaughtered those mite's.

Thanks Boss. The mites were stubborn but for now they seem to be in check. I still spray at least once a week just in case eggs have hatched.

More pics of the ladies. They are starting to get a few red hairs, winding down now.

nice, they look awesome.

Thanks again FDD! It has been a great experience growing hijack, very beefy and excellent performance. Love how the main colas fill in all the way up the branch.

Did you notice the sativa, chem dawg, in the back? It is the same age as the hijacks but not as filled in yet, she's gonna go at least a month longer than the hijacks.

wait till you smoke it, an awesome high man.makes the experience that much more fulfilling

Ya I can hardly wait! The wait is getting shorter by the day. Pistols are turning red and some have started to recede back into the bud, mmmmm. Tricomes are mostly clear to milky about 50/50 with no amber yet. It sure is smelling up the back yard and sure that other backyards (neighbors) are starting to get wiffs of it. Oh and I am having success with cloning. New post ahead in a few minutes.

A couple weeks ago I cut 4 clones, my first, and 3 rooted so far. Those 3 have been transplanted into ffof soil with a coco mix and have taken to the soil real well. One still hasn't shown any roots yet but stands tall.

Yesterday I took 8 more clones from the hijack mom and they are sitting in a clone dome. I have misted them with a light solution of Aqua Vega so far and they are lookin nice. Hope these new clones root faster than the first ones did.

I am just so pleased that I passed my first cloning test.

The new set that I just cut yesterday is for this season's outdoor grow. Now all they have to do is be ready for the sunshine in about 4 weeks or so.

Here are some pics of the new clones, the older ones and the mom. I also added update pics of how the flowering ones are lookin.

Questions, comments, and suggestions are welcome.
