I went straight for the black and white pic lol

Looks like you could start farming worms in those big ass totes of soil! Unless you already are that is :-) Im sure the plants would love it.

Thanks for the pics.

I checked that. Thanks for the pointer.

I was thinking of trying The Dog, but they are out of stock.

I am enjoying seeing their stuff growing here.

Update Time HSO's Sour Blueberry didn' t make the cut in my room but was really nice smelling when I took her down.
I would have kept this strain but it doesn't have the structure or hardiness I'm looking for.

Well thanks Hydra... Organic super soil is the way to go.
Can I ask what you blend together? I am reading True Living Organics by the Rev right now. I love it. I would love to "just add water and teas" to my soil and that's the goal. I have much to learn and I am trying to get it all straight. Thanks Hemlock.

Well GG, I started a few years ago making a compost pile of all my old soil. I also went to a few places that have compost and got a read out of what was in it and what the PH was ect.. When I found what I like a got a 1/2 a load and added it to my old soil pile and I turn it regularly and add old soil to it all the time.

The Rev is a good man but seems some of his stuff is a bit for the smaller gardener than a commercial op however I do incorporate some of his stuff into my mix. I like his thinking when he says hey its all in the soil from your last grow meaning all the nutes and stuff are in your compost pile.

If I was starting out I would use ProMix HP amend it with teas and topdressing. Promix will make you some GREAT compost.

At this point I don't use any nutes oh from time to time I will throw in the occasional bloom booster. But for the most part its just PH's water and molasses.

The first 3 weeks in bloom I still feed more of a Veg tea till the 3rd week. Then its all bloom teas and plain water.

Hemlock Veg Tea
5 gallons of R/O water u can also just bubble the water for 24 hourse if ya don't wanna do R/O
1 tablespoon of bat guano 10-1-1
1 tea spoon of blood meal
1 oz of Fish emulsion 3-1-1
1 handful of alapha pellets
Bubble for 24-48 hours

Typical Hemlock Bloom teas
5 gallons of R/O water
1 handful of GH anicent forest
1 table spoon of 8-4-4 sea bird guano
1 handful of alfapha meal/pellets. you can get a 50 bag of alapha hay made into pellet form at any cattle feed store. I pay 20 bucks for 50 pounds. Like the Rev says make sure it has nothing in it but alapha no other nutes for cattle.
1 handful of cottonseed meal
1 handful of /baby oats
and the most important part 1 oz of molasses

I also top dress the last 30 days with High P 0-15-2 bat guano. Now he Rev and I disagree here. His way is to never use High P because it will set back the colony you have work to build. But who care because in 30 day the soil goes to compost where the colony will multiply.
IMO you set up the colony so that in the last 30 days you can hit them with high P bat guano twice to get the bud to fattin up.

I also do earth worm casting tea in Veg and bloom

If I could give u any advise it would be to never use to much of any one thing

Holy crap I thought I was luke skywalker for joining the 600 club. I just kicked my wife out for telling me im not allowed to have 29k watts...sadface.... Subing in for this shit. How do you deal with root binding or tangling having them so closely bunched in the 40gal tubs?

welcome homegrwn,

Well I don't give a shit about root tangling but to deal with it I drill holes in the sides of the 45 gallon tubs and they work like airpots. the roots come to the hole and air prune themselves and grow back into the pot.

LOL I'm sure you will miss her..LOL

My brother!!!
The Crit SS is quite the daywrecker LOL. It does yield very well. My last one in a 6 gallon pot was 85 grams and I took it at day 50. You know me I put it up and take it down as fast as I can..LOL

BTW love the AVAtar
