so is there any difference in the dog F and reg?? or is it just the femd?? and do u believe running fem seeds wont give u all the genes?? or is it just opinons?? my fiance is getting her card so then i can have another 6 in flower by my next run and im gonna germ a whole pack of dog F for hers.... we are moving in a month and then im setting up my perpetual grow so f ing pumped!!! ;)
 
man i cant wait till mine finish cause honestly headband has always been a favorite of mine and i have been burning nothing but og kush for a bit now and its by far some of the most superb buds ive ever even seen let alone burned so to know that in just 5 more weeks im gonna have a cross of the two is making me well... horny?? lmao!! but for reals!!
 
so here is my fire og and what appears to be male flowers that have opened?? but thats the only place on the plant?? just those 3 spots and the rest are all female buds?.... i just noticed it last night and i have pulled it out of the room and im not sure what to do cause i was really looking forward to her!! ive been checking over the others and i dont see any signs of male parts anywhere.... im affraid i may have just fucked my whole room??! i hope not!! anyways heres a pic of the male parts and a pic of the tops...

she looks droopy cause they are due for a feed... ive been working 7 days and nights on a side job so ive been busy and havnt had that much time to spend down here the last week :( ... but thats how my summers usually are considering thats when everyone is building homes lol cant complain about making money though ;)
 
Was there any pollen laying around? Depending on your air circulation you may be lucky enough to get away with minor damage. The male flower has opened but it depends on if the pollen sacs (anthers) have opened or been disturbed.
 
next time im filling my room with nothing but BB!! Dog F, QQ, DPG, Dipsy, SCxCVK, Jakes Dream, and i think either CQxAK48 or Black SS..... and idk its hard to pick i wanna run em all lol theres a few im kinda thinking about going with also.... any suggestions??? whats yous guysis favs.... sorry for blowig up the board but i havnt been on much lately lol

so should i just cut the fire og down?? it was all female going in and like i said those are the only 3 spots with male parts?? do you think i would be ok to continue to flower or is not worth the risk??
 
idk man im kinda thinking that at this point and considering im still green i dont think i wanna risk it so im gonna take her down :/ ... but i still have some seeds and plus i have a load of dank ass fire just loving life so im not gonna take a chance and then not know what to do but i thank you for the input as always!!!
 
several varieties will throw out a few sacs. Don't give up, just puck them off....and I'm a seasoned grower.
I have one strain that will throe nanners at 6 weeks, but they are sterile.

oh so that is what i hear reffered to as a nanner?? .... hmmm well now im thinking a bit .... do you think itll be fine to just pick em? i just really dont wanna miss one and then have it sees my whole room ya know?? hmm man idk ahhhh lol
 
ooo... well then, i cant handle the stress of worrying about it seeding my room so i did just cut her down :( but again i do have some more seeds if i wanna try her again but to be honest she was pretty touchy from the start and was always looking like she was in a real shitty mood so i might wait a bit till a get a real grip before trying again.... but ill tell ya though the others are looking great!! nice and full and starting to just burst with tops and hairs .... theres a few i have my eye on for sure, the sour cherry is looking very very heavy!! and my dog is starting to frost right up already!! and my 2 durban poison are just monsters!!! with fat ass heads everywhere!!! heres a Durban....

Like cof said, the nanner (looks like bananas) are the pollen sacs that are inside the male flowers. In stressd or herm prone plants, these little yellow sacs appear in the buds (often, later on in the grow as the plant seemingly tries to polleante itself). Then you have herms that grow full male flowers in clusters (like the ones you see). Then you get herms that will grow males pods on the pre flowers (this is like the dog f). Then there is the difference in plants as to when these appear on the plant. There are probably more varieties of herms but this is the main 3 categories I have seen. I''d say when you got the clusters it's probably best to get rid of.
 
Ended up with 5 females, after sexing. I defiantly got the short FB pheno in the flower room, probably going to clone the piss out of it. I love short tight noded plants. Crazy thing is the 2 largest plants ended up being female, I'm stoked about that. In my limited experience the tall veggers end up being male. But not this time, the large ones are going to ride it all the way out. Had my 1000w ballast go out on me the other day, it was an iPower brand. lasted one year. Walked in the room to do some watering and their was no light. I opened up the ballast and it at black sticky goo covering everything inside, does anyone know if this is normal. I'm thinking it is because it blew. So I had to scramble to get another ballast in there but all is well now. Just got to get a better filter before these ladies get to funky.

Havent had much luck germinating lately though. My JD are popping up sparatically(5\10), but no sign of SC,SCxFB hopefully they will be peeking out of the dirt when i get to them today or some time soon. I really was wanting to run the SC for the color.
