Breeding help needed?

If I bred two f1 plants from separate strains (black widow X Querkle for example) what would I get? A bunch of different pheno types? Or would it be better to just inbreed the two separately to create a IBL with both stains THEN breeding the two strains together for a more stable F1? Any advice is appreciated thank you in advance!!

Your not going to stabilize any F1 parring by cubing the parents......

Trust me here. you want phenotypical diversity. If you don't have the space or time to run the pheno's to see what you get.....why breed.

The number of pheno's from a crossing can be diverse or small. Had one lately that had what I thought was 9 and now has turned out to be 10 differing pheno's from the first 36 beans popped......One might be the holy grail pheno.

Lets look at Ghost "cut" OG as an example. It has a pheno that grows 2x faster (height wise) then the "normal" market pheno. This also has a more sativa look to it and the buzz just sends you SOARING off into "I'm so fucking HIGH" land vs the normal - half sphere shaped OG pheno that you get all the time.
The "Magic carpet" pheno is rare, maybe 1:100 beans pops this pheno.

So, be diverse and run like 24 fresh beans together to make a quick picture of the pheno spread.....maybe, just maybe, you'll find a winner, winner, chicken dinner pheno!

Um, most likely not with that cross you exampled.

Those* genetics?[/QUOT
If you want stability or somewhat consistency then starting out by breeding a hybrid (BW) and a polyhybrid (Querkle) wouldn't be the best idea. The offspring of that cross would be very unpredictable as far as phenotype expression. A better idea would be breeding one of those strains with Afghani, Skunk, Northern Lights, Blueberry or something stable.

I'm willing to spend quite a bit on good genetics... So far the only good breeders I know of are tga subcool, and Mr.nice seeds, and dj short....

My goal bud is just very resinous and purple for bag appeal, stink is nice, and short for indoor grow. Not to sure on sativa or indica high...

I just want seeds I can call my own!!

If you're going to be using the seeds the goal should be GOOD stable seeds. If you just want seeds to call your own then you can just put any male and female together and they're your own seeds. Advise above shouldn't be taken lightly.

If you don't know what you are doing, you are just as likely to grow crap weed with good genetics.

Go for it. It's your time and money. You won't know what you'll get until you do it.
