there is alot of hypes to strains especially with the IG crowd , alot of echo chambers, I taste everything once and usually regret not taking clones but I also regret not running strains. why not try to taste as many strains as you can before you die, shit im game

id suggest trying seeds from breeders who have cultivated a successful image online over time, someone who shares there "notes" as it were, even without directly sharing their secrets it proves or at least semi validates the strains, just like people : I have friends and I hate can't stand the taste and people id catch a bullet for

I like peas, I did look up the gentleman mentioned. Seems he was born in a time too early, not many regarded his work until later. I agree, I want to taste as many as possible. There's a sense of pride I get from gardening, and being as self sufficient as possible is cool to me. "Creating my own strain" solves finding seeds, and keeps my shelves stocked.

Do you know of any breeders to look at? I'm in the USA if it makes a difference.

Not sure if you were asking me. I'm really not very fond of many - you can ask @kovidkough how I feel about it.

If I had to choose, one that stands out is named ESO

I didn’t find a thread here for Esos Seeds so I figured I’d start one. Feel free to post any Esos experiences you have! I ordered two packs of twinkle tarts expecting one free pack but was informed that I had just missed out on a promo by a few days. He ended up sending three free packs...wow...

just get few regular seeds and then you are good forever with seeds if you carefully pollinate a few bud sites in a few runs
