I was looking for the 2 foot strips in 3000k. Your link is the 2 foot strips in 4000k and the 4k ones are $3+ more USD a strip. The 3000k ones are only $9.75 those ones are $13+ The only way i found them on arrow was to copy the part number from digikey and search but it worked.

I am fully convinced this is an error by arrow, the 3k strips are $3 a strip cheaper than the 4k.
Was only going to order 8 for now but at that price said fuckit and ordered 16. Now to find the driver or drivers for them. Any Input or suggestions for a canadian on driver choice is welcome while i do some research myself.

Really, youre just being a dick now. Some ppl want to spend all their time learning what the best light is. Not me. I have a life and a job and a family, the spare time i have for learning is spent on my plants not my light. When i ask for advice on lighting its because there are ppl who are experts on it. You tho are just plain a dick and are ignored.

Honestly, LED lighting is far from my area of knowledge and im learning as i go as ive run hps for a long time but its time to change because my balast is having issues and the bulb is due for a change. Thats what lead me on this LED journey. I'd like to have 2 seperate drivers each running 8 strips for my ideal layout just for the flexability. Budget isnt really much of an issue as i have more than enough for whatever fits these best and would want a meanwell, as far as series or parallel wiring im open to either.

Open to suggestions on how to best maximize these things, im not worried about maximum efficiency as no matter how hard i run them its more efficient than my hps so being able to run them as hard or nearly as hard as they can go with a dimable option would be what im looking for.

Anyone who could steer me just in the general right direction on where to start would be much appreciated.

Oh i forgot to put my initial thought for the driver was two HLG-185C-H1050, whichever option has the dimable, thats the B correct? Again tho this is a noob to LED guessing, feedback is more than appreciated.

Was just doing the driver hunt on the 2 ft H-Series strips myself.

Basically you are looking for a constant current driver that will deliver 24 volts per strip at about 960 mA. Wired in series, your HLG-185C would work well for 7-8 strips.

Other choices:
HLG-185H-24 7-8 strips
HLG-150H-24 6 strips
HLG-100H-24A 4 strips
HLG-80H-24A 3 strips

Appreciate the group's input on this list, still getting my driver mojo down :peace:

Both the A and B versions are dimmable, A via an internal pot you adjust with a screwdriver, or B which has external wires to connect to your own pot. Having had both, I prefer the A version. The B is only useful if you think you'll be regularly adjusting your light output throughout your grow cycle. Most folks dial in the current to fit their needs and leave it there, so A version is perfect.

yes i know that, when i said dimable i meant the built in dimable option just for convience of not having to get a seperate pot and solder it in. As far as i know other than a little extra juice and an easier to adjust dimmer theres no compelling reason to go the B driver, correct?

The leading option at the moment is to get two HLG-185H-24A with each one driving 8 of these in series.

Goal is to basically max out those strips and then dim them down as i deem neccessary. I do know that i will likely have to put some heatsink solution if i drive them as hard as possible so thats okay. So any input from the LED experts would be greatly appreciated. Dont take this wrong baudelaire but you seem almost as new as me to this so im hoping to get a more experienced opnion or two before i pull the trigger on a $150+ purchase.

Snippy? no how was it snippy? if it seemed that way it wasnt. He presented 4 different drivers that would work but at the same time says hes trying to figure out drivers too. When someone qualifies an answer with "i think it might be" it leads to a lack of confidence in the answer.

A simple "yah id agree with that" was all i was asking for. I think ive gone out of my way repeatedly to thank people when asking advice. Especially you nogood, youve helped me alot.

How is askign to verify from someone with more experience than both of us if we are spending our money in the right way me being snippy?

Baud said it would work but also gave 4 other options and i just dont know what of the now 5 options (the first i researched myself) is actually the best. He also clarified the fact i had A and B mixed up and i thanked him for it. How is it spoon fed if i actually supplied what is still the leading option but i just wanted to make sure my noob ass was actually right in my research...... but whatever.
