How are people dimming these strips? What needs to be done for setting up a dimmer? Is there something similar to the storm x controller for HLG or ELG drivers? Or is it better to do a bunch of LDD's?

The near paper thin aluminum roll stock as a backing, is working splendidly for my panels. 1/8th inch aluminum frames, with a 2'x2' sheet that the strips are fixed onto. Mildly flexible as well....
8x 560mm strips on a MW 185 1050, and I have a 700ma version with 11 strips.
1.1% voltage droop was the max I have reached.....
Hey mate, how did you attach the strips to the flashing? Sounds like a goer to me its like $14 for 10 metre rolls.

wireless dimming or just dimming?
just a potentiometer works...
LDD's work too even with a pod

Neodymium magnets will work too....cheap and strong, not permanent

I actually used small bolts/washers/nuts, drilled holes. Only 4 bolts per strip, one on each end, and two closer to the middle, on the opposite edge of the strip, from the outer end hole bolts.
It was a pain, but they're secure and removable. If I had to do it over, I think the thermal tape might be the way to go, any other tape I tried, fell off after getting warm.
Beware of the holes in the EB strip, some are NOT INTENDED for screws/bolts, and could cause short outs. You can see where the circuits run on the backing of the strip, only use the holes that don't interfere with them.
I like the magnet idea too, that could be handy.
