I broke a branch almost completly off the main v shaped stem.. It was hanging by a string almost completly.. Got a moist cotton ball and wraped it nice in place with duct tape. 1 day later lookin alive but leaves looking droopy.. I been misting it with water every couple hrs.. Do u think it will live? Stlill alive but droopy leaves...

Anybodies guess. I don't know what the deal is with the moist cotton ball. Ideally, the branch should be secured exactly and then sealed with something like what they use with grafting...or even wax might do in a pinch.

Tape works good for me sometimes I use medical tape, sometimes duct tape doesn't seem to make a difference.

edit: I would lay off the watering seems like it would make it heavy & put strain on something..
I know nothing,just my guess.GL!

happend to me. basicly had the main top hanging froma few threads of the stem in week 4-5 flower. Taped that shit together and left it lik that. 4-5 weeks later i cut it down and when i removed the tape the stem was whole :D.

My plant was hardly even stunted.. only yielded around 8-10 grams less than my other plants of same strain. should be anything to worry about if you have a good plant.

I would take the cotton off the limb, and replace it with some tape.
A wet spot on the stem might initiate rot.
Tape it up, and it should be fine.

I've broken my share of branches.. Each and everytime I reach for masking tape and tape it super tight and they always mend

Was reading some ones post.. Thata wher i got the tape idea..... Lol.... I just took it off and using only tape now... put it together exactly wher it broke from... Like when u break something u glue it back together in the same spot wher it broke.. It does make sence that the wet cotton will rot it out.... Thank u.. Thats why i sign up to this.. . to ask expert ther advise......good lookin.. Leaves look droopy still but we just need to see what ... I will update all u... Thanks
