broke the stem under the dirt WOWOWOW

yeah a light fell on my plant like a month and a half ago it broke but under the dirt so on the top part that was broken off still had roots, i just put more soil and shes still alive. I was just wondering today (yeh a little late haha) if that part of the stem that is at the bottom will rot or wut will happen cus im keepin it as a motherplant but if this causes root rot i dont want it.

It'll repair itself, unless the break has a giant open gap. Their pretty tough plants. Are you familiar with supercropping? That's a method where you basically purposely break the stem near the top of the plant, promoting more bushy growth, and hopefully more colas. They always repair theirselves, and are fine afterwards. :)

sorry i wasnt clear. it broke off like split in 2 lol but the plant looks really healthy. just wondering if the stem in the bottom of the pot will rot

btw i prefer low stress training. i used to do the fimming method but tying em down is workin better for me.

If you can get at the stem use some plumbing tape the stuff put on pipes before they are tightened. This a great tool for any grower because it will allow the plant to exspand when it is growing. While other tapes tend to strangle the plant causeing funny stem growth once it has heald take the tape off.About 14 days if the snap was bad if it is below soil level then just leave it be it will root up and be fine unless it looks like it is dieing then pull it or you might get some kind of rot.
