Broke the top off my 1ft tall plant while I was in the middle of LST.

I was bending the top of my one foot tall plant and the top snapped n broke off. I got my other one done fine but this one broke... Will it get bushy or look messed up? If it gets ugly, imma just take it out... Also, I took the broken piece and put it in water and planted it into a little square starter...

I would say give it time it might rebound. Had that problem awhile back and stunted the growth but i was glad i didnt toss it. whats a few more weeks of waiting. the broken piece did u put rooting power or liquid on it. that would generally help the planting process. u can get it at menards lowells.

give it time, i had a WHOLE plant eaten by a bunny and all that was left was the first node and those 2 bottom leaves. it came back as like 2 plants instead of 1 (:

Give it some time, as Johnney said, you will probably get a double top for your trouble. And a 2nd plant from the broken piece. Seems like win/win to me. Good luck & good grow.......BB

Use what you lost for a clone if you really like the plant. The plant itself will be fine and should come back rather bushy. 2-4 days recovery probably so no more stress until then.

You need to keep the broken piece in high humidity to stop it from wilting. This will greatly increase the chances of it rooting. You can take a two liter bottle and cut the bottom off to use it as a dome, or even a large Dunkin Donuts cup. Also, if possible you should take the stem and cut it at a 45 degree angle. If you don't have rooting hormone just let it soak in a glass of clean water. Change the water daily, within a week it might root on its own.

buddy i feel your pain. today i was feeding my mammas when i thought it would be a great idea to LST my biggest plant......i bent the stalk of the 5 foot plant over and tied it down. then i thought it would be good to tie down the stalk near the top too. as soon as i tied off the line and let it go i started hearing the stalk crack- snap goes the fuckin stalk and 2 feet of plant..luckily its still attached and im hopin she'll pull through
