Broken off main stem, need some help please

Hi guys,

I have always grown no LST or topping due to having a very tall grow space and lots of top/side lighting.

My grow area has since changed and I now have to keep the plant short. So i wanted to try LST. Well I bent the main stem a little too much and snapped 3/4 of it. (Please see pictures for detail)

Last year I had a freak thing happen where I had a light structure fall and smashed the shit out of one of my plants but it recovered like a boss, so I am not too worried about the plants recovery.

My main question is whats the best option I could go with here (in this situation) to keep my plant short and get a decent yield? Plant is only about 7-8 inches in height.

Any help would be great, I really appreciate it.

I am inexperienced with topping and supercropping, could you please explain a bit more. Do I actually cut the main stem and let the side shoots grow making an "even" canopy?

Take the lower side shoots and clone them. The lowest ones. You'll see by topping and supercropping that the side buds from a fair height get more light. If you go so far as to later SCROG your grow the plants are in prime shape to be trained in it.

I had a 8 week plant 6 weeks into flower and the main stem broke below the cola. I just made a splint and taped it. As long as it isn't broke completely off, the remaining "veins" will still transfer water and nutrients
