Broken Taproot

Starting with a gorilla glue auto-while moving the germinated seed from my paper towels over to the pot, my dog got excited and jumped up to see what was going on. Bad dog!

Anyway, this wound up snipping off maybe the bottom half of a roughly half inch taproot. Planted in what remains anyway and tossed on the heating mat-anything else I can do to increase chances of success? (other than give the dog some peanut butter next time i am planting)

Throwing them directly into medium negates this issue completely.
