Brown Spots on Leaves

Hi Boys & Girls,

I have been growing my babies for 6 weeks (400W HPS) without any neuts (Just relying on the compost to feed them) & everything was going fine, then a few small brown spots appeared on the lower leaves & the tips of some of the top leaves started to go yellow (Only the very tip) so I assumed that they needed a feed.

I fed them for the first time on Saturday with some Hesi TNT Complex & now the brown spots have got worse & started to spread.

I used the recommended dose of Hesi, 5ml per 1 ltr of water, so don't think I have over over ferted them.

The rest of the plant is very healthy.

Any ideas....

Tks

Looking at your pic seems like you ph is off, when you amended your soil did you add lime or anyother ph buffer?do you test your water? I only ask because PH problems look like a lack of some nute or another then you fertilize thinking that will take care of it and it makes it worse due to build up in the soil and this can actually make soil toxic. test water, and run off I bet your ph is off

I've never got the "my plant is sick.. feed it" thing... Brown leaves (necrosis) is usually a nute od or a PH prob. thats locking up the nutes so they burn the leaves as opposed to being absorbed.. So for both adding more is wrong... I go back to square 1 if a good flush doesn't work..I'm not fucking around with flush/nute shit..I just replant... new soil.. fresh un nuted water...square 1.. imo luck

Many thanks guys,

I'll buy a ph tester tomorrow to check it out.

It was not the case of if my plant is sick, then feed it, I had not used any nutes thus far so mistakingly thought that the problem was lack of food.

I had looked at other posts to find the solution, but nothing looks the same.

Thanks again both...
