Hey guys my plants are about 10 days old and I have noticed a plant or 2 has a few brown spots at the tip of the leaves. I was hoping I could get some advice on what this may be?

If you are using tap water I would say its the chlorine. It could be over fertilized or missing a nutrient. Whats your ph at?

Yea I am using tap water. Should I let it sit for longer than 24 hrs before I use it? And I dont have any way to read my ph. I dont have the money for one right now so I have to make the best with what I got. I havent gave them any nutrients yet because they havent came in the mail yet. So I figure they will only be like a day or 2 behind on the nutes.

you can get a pH kit almost anywhere bro, theyre only like $6 for the droplets. its not 100% accurate but its pretty close and its MUCH better than nothing

ok sweet. I use to have a pool, so will those little test kits work where u see how much chlorine is in the water and etc. I thought I was going to have to spend $100 on a ph reader.

easy way to check your ph. is go to wally mart buy a pool water tester its cheep and will tell you your phone of the best ways toadd nutrents is start off your plants with a dead minnow in the soil.when it decomposes it gives the the plant all itneed.found this out after our dog diedplanted my seeds where i bured the dog. the plants grew great.nice &tall, and bushy.then my damn brother picked it. never gave it nething more then water.after i planted it

leaving the water out with the lid off will certainly evaporate chlorine, if this is your concern... brown spots can also be an indication of potassium deficiency, especially if the spots are at the edges of the leaves.. is there also any yellowing? i'm assuming its a soil grow? if the ph is too low(acidic).. the older leaves will start to yellow (this could also be because of lack of Nit. and iron.. magn. will exhibit a yellowing around the veins first before anywhere else.

maybe heat stress??? cuz one of mine of monday its leafs were curling at the end and had some browing at the end and the leafs were droopy then i just misted the whole plant with distilled water and it perked back up and the browing stoped

onething i would definitely invest in also is a good organic fungicide... it seems like you could possibly be having a blight problem.. possibly a form of black spot, elsinoe spot and/or leaf spot.. you can buy relatively cheap varieties of fungicides for spots and moulds..

This is my first time grow. it been growing good untill i noticed that a few of the bottom leaves started to get brown spots on the tips, very small but then as time went on it dried out the leaf and turned it yellow and crackly. from the pics it only look like the bottom one have been effected but there are very small brown tips and edges on several oother leaves. The top portion of the plant seems healthy. is this nute burn? or something else. please lemme no so i can do something to fix it asap. Anything helps. Thanks
