I've currently got 8 thc bomb plants a little over a month into veg and I started to see some brown spots on 2-3 plants about a week ago. I thought I had over watered so I gave it a few days and watered lightly but nothing has changed over than probably more spots. I'm using fox farms OF soil mixed with perlite and with their product grow big for nutes. Im using cfls temps are 70-80 degrees depending on temps outside.please help!!!!

Looks like a deficiency for sure. Id consult User: Hyroot That guy knows his plants. Also, Seeing as how your a southern grower, like myself, Wheres that humidity at brah? It can really be a killer down here. And is your water Purified to remove chlorine and chloramines?

Hey thanks guys and I'm a first time grower so I'm trying to work out the kinks. I started feeding grow big at 3 weeks 1 teaspoon per gallon which is lower than recomended dose. I was feeding that every other watering which waterings run about 1-2 days apart. I did bump dose to 2 teaspoons a couple days ago. Problem started a little before that though. I had read to just leave water out for 12+ hours and that would solve ph problems.should I be adding products to the water to do this? And currently I don't have a humidity gauge so ill pick one up tomorrow.

I have used FF for many years and in my opinion you have overfed. I would just use straight water for 3 or so rounds and monitor new growth. 2 tsp per gal a week seems to enough for all but the most heavy feeding strains. I usually start out at a 1/2 tsp and work gradually from there. Its all a learning process......
12-24 hours sitting out is enough to evaporate chlorine. But chloramine does not evaporate in the same fashion. In most cases the water source does not contain enough of either to cause any issues. Your best bet is to check with your local water company for a report on exactly what your tap water contains. Thats just good growing 101...

Also get yourself some dolomite lime and top dress your containers with a couple of Tablespoons and gently work it into the top inch or so of medium, then water in. This will accomplish 2 things. Take care of your pH for you. And supply additional Calcium and Magnesium.

Sure signs of over nute "burnt tips". What happened did you forget to add water to your nutrients :??: j/k with you buddy. It's asy to do. Do you ppm your feedings :??:

Lol, thanks again guys I went out and got a humidity gauge it's reading just over 50%. I ph checked my water and maybe it had something to do with the problem bc water was 7.6 ph that I was using so I got some water conditioner to help remove chlorine and chloramines. Also I got a couple bottles of stuff with my ph tester to raise or lower ph. So I got my water down to 6.2 or so and watered the plants. I'll try straight water for a few days see how the plants respond and hopefully start feeding nutes again. I also took a couple lights out of my setup to give the plants a slightly cooler environment. Thanks again everyone ill keep y'all updated

YUP.. Right around 6.0 - 6.5 is what I keep mine at growing in soil. Hopefully it didnt lock anything out. Holler at me anytime, Im here to help... Take care..
