brown spotting on leaves

My plants are from bag seeds.
I am doing a trial run so i can work out the kinks.
I am using 5 gallon buckets. Inside each bucket i have 2 air stones and 1 60 gph water pump pumping water into the basket 24/ 7.
the Problem:
After about a week i noticed the first leaves (the biggest ones on the bottom) started getting brown spots on the ends. A few days latter the leaves started turning yellow nd drying out. i cut the dead half of the leaves off. Everything seemed ok

Now the next two leaves up are getting brown spots on them.
Is this nutrient burn? fungus? please help

I used 1/4 suggested nutrients for the first week and worked my way to full strength (2 tsp per gallon) by the end of the second week. I have them under a 400 w metal halide (they are vegging).
the temp is usually between 82 degrees and 78 degrees.
does anyone know what this could be?

i am using fox farm nutrients.

Only reasons I can think of brown spots is heat stress/burn another reason my be nutrient solution burn too high pH or too low causes the nutrients to not break apart too

Hope this helps I'll try to remember to get back on this to see if you have any questions :P :)

do you have tap or well water?? if you have tap water then maybe you could use some mag cal plus, that could be signs of early mag and cal def but its hard to tell. how long between rez changes??
i went about 8 days before i noticed.
but i cut the first two leaves a week earlier.
I think i may have had some root rot
so i changed the res cleaned the buckets and flushed the plant with a peroxide solution
i changed the water again and will see how it looks tomorow.
i have tap water so it may need a little mag cal
i will try that this weekend

they show up as brown spots on the tips of the leaves and then the leaves tuen brownish yellow and curl up and in
