browning drying curling, whats wrong? +pics

browning drying curling, and some yellowing. started with just some smaller brown spots but they grew and now its mostly connected. im leaning towards it being related to nute deficiency but i dont really know. pictures of the soil im using is included.

right now i have just a 100w MH and a 4200lumen cfl (400watt MH/HPS coming soon)



also, the plant has been rather slow to develop all along, but its been getting progressively worse. its pretty limp and the leaves are all fairly dry.

please help!

that kmart shit doesnt drain good enough bro. they are staying too wet and the roots are prolly rotting. if your low on cash, go to wally world and get some miracle gro potting soil. just dont feed any nutes for a while, and when you do, start with very low feedings

ah.. damn. miracle grow will drain well? is there something better i can get?

preferably i would like to buy soil that is like 100% guaranteed to be all set for growing, you know?

i use ocean forest http://www.htgsupply.com/products.asp?categoryID=11&subcategoryID=45 happy frog is even less harsh... but the miracle gro potting soil is good if you work you feedings right, and it will drain pretty good. i add about 30-40% of perlite per container tho...

do you also add perlite to the ocean forest or happy frog?

go to your local nursery and get some promix, comes with only a very small amount of micro nutes so you know exactly what your putting in it from the get go

and you don't wanna use anything with time released food in it. Cannabis eats alot and by the time you notice that your food from your soil is gone you will prolly have a def and have to take the extra time to fix that or if you feed them you could burn them. You will be guessing the whole time on when and how much to feed so your better off knowing from the beginning whats going in there.

I have the same problem (see my 2 other posts). Definitely want to mix perlite in there from what I'm reading here. Very solid advice so far so I would take it!

i add perlite to everything lol. drains better and your soil will last longer. and its only like 3 bucks a bag

ok thanks for the advice, ill see if i cant get myself some good balanced soil. about what percentages of npk should i look for, or what does ocean forest and pro-mix have?
