Browning on tips seems to have stopped.

I finally got a ph tester and realized the ph of the tap water a was using was way to high. I mistakenly bought ph + so i used some lemon to get the ph down to 6.5, and through in a trace of nutes.

Heres some pics from a couple days ago.

The plants seemed to improve overnight after i watered it with the more neutral water.

Good job getting straight on that PH issue. To high or low of ph can stunt your plants growth completely, lol i have a plant in my backyard that's flowering at 7 inches with a 2 month veg because it was neglected and watered with really shitty hose water if ever.

the res/nutes dont stay stabilized over long period of time if the res of water/nutes are left standing. Maybe I should have highlighted if he was aerating the res for any length of time, and had added, say, vinegar to adjust the PH, and then left for hour+, came back and then fed them - the PH would have most likely fluctuated b/c of the short time that vinegar will keep the PH at the initial level.

[edit: it is true lemon juice is more stable, and is also good for chelating calcium. And yes, apple cider vinegar is often used. If he were doing hydro it could/should be noted that the res could possibly get bacteria. but since he's not, thats a moot point.]
