Day 56 since flip on the oldest one. No new pistils except on the tips of the foxtails that showed up on the tallest class. Still thinking 3 more weeks.
Day 65 and this one is having trouble standing up lol. Only white pistils left are still on the tips of the foxtails which thankfully haven't taken over. Looking to go to 80 days. Might have to add some stakes to finish.
I don't think I'll ever flower this mother. Way to branchy for my taste.
Cuttings are fine I've potted a few up which is all I need right now.
Cut down at day 80 of 12/12. Seemed wise to get the nanner factory out of the tent. Haven't found any beans in the plant I'm smoking now but it seems best to nip it in the bud.
The plant I chopped last week is still too moist to trim. I hung it in my basement which has apparently flipped to spring mode with high RH. Compare to the last plant I hung down there in December which was ready to jar after 72 hours. I usually trim wet but thought I'd go different this time because someone said I'd get a better smoke this way. It is a pita to trim once the sugar leaves fold up imo. I remain skeptical. Pretty nice haul for one plant though.
Day 60 for the oldest and 2 others 10 days behind that. The youngest ones hit their stretch when I first put them in the tent and the extra temperature because I didn't control that at first made them a little spindly. Big buds that barely can stand up is not the worst problem. The oldest one stretched before the tent showed up so it's much more stocky and compact.
6 babies. Not going to repot until I'm forced to. I want to flower them all at once after taking one pass of cuttings in about 4 weeks.
Day 68 for the oldest one. Taking it at least 10 more days 10 fat spears on that one. They are all having a hard time staying upright, and I am out of stakes lol. I think the higher Temps in the tent promoted greater stretch than I have seen with this strain so far. Looking forward to dialing that in before the next cycleI could also use some dollies to make moving them in the tent easier.
Opened the flower tent this am and one cola was bent/broken over about 6 inches from the top. I have never experienced such flimsy stems. One of the 2 plants that stretched excessively when I didn't have control of the tent environment. Had to break out some string to tie it up. They are around day 60 of 12/12 so maybe 4 more weeks
Day 80 of 12/12. Still going strong. Fed only 3/4 t/gal maxibloom last watering. Ten.More.Days.
Had.to abandon the SOG idea for the next run since these veg plants grew out of control. Going to choose the 4 nicest and flower in 3 weeks. So I'll be wrapping this up in 110 days..... then break until winter returns.
Day 88. Chop. The last two will be gone next weekend. Then reset for a 4 plant run. Going to run ac outside the tent. Excess heat has not added quality for sure.
I just realized I can use this 2in1 tent as one room so I'm flowering the final four starting today. I am a little worn out. It's been nonstop flowering since October. My goal with these is to not see any foxtailing later. Air conditioning should help and more distance from the lights. Or it's just genetics. I'm done with Bruce Banner regardless. Great strain for yield and potency. Time for something new.
They've stretched a bunch. I have given them a good lollipopping. They vegged so long they were way too branchy to flower as is. Took off a grocery bag's worth of shoots and leaves
