Your plants are fine don't worry about others that grow their plants differently. They're your plants. If you want to grow them the way you did that's your business. I grow plants naturally like that all the time.

I don't see what the big deal is that the OP let their plants grow the way they did. I flower plants all the time without doing any training other than a supercrop here or there sometimes nothing. Some of us don't veg and train for months. We veg a short time and flower. Some may not want to spend a bunch of time training for SCROG or LST. I can start a plant from seed and be close to harvest in the time some spend training in veg. I go for more quicker turnaround rather than a long veg and a larger harvest. I see many growers spending months training their plants. That's fine but not the only way to grow. I'd go SOG before I spend months training LST or SCROG. Set them and forget them is how I like to grow. I'm done fiddling with cannabis plants. I want to grow them with as little effort required as possible. But I understand that some enjoy spending time playing with their plants. I'd rather play with my dogs in the backyard.
I think the point is that if he trains the canopy he could use his area better. OF course everyone is free to grow they way the like but maybe he needed someone to tell him that he could have a better yield and a more efficient grow room if he trains his canopy. vegging long and topping or scrog are not the only training techniques to have a good even canopy. If you veg for a short time you can also train them in sog.

Exactly. A simple topping would give him several giant kolas instead of just one. Just trying to help him get his efficiency levels up- running lights is expensive.

The look super healthy !!!!
I am sure the quality will be very good. If. you do some training in later harvests you could get awesome yield and quality.
I gonna b doing some research on different techniques thinking of the sea of green next run and thank u

That is the technique I have using. My last grow I pulled 29 ounces of a 4x4 tent with 3 days veg time from rooted clone. I am also quite new and only use a basic fertilizer from start to finish so I think sog is great. Really easy to train your plants.
This is the last picture I took before harvest.

I think sog is great because without any real training(except cutting lower. branches) you are able to get a very even canopy.

Ummm wow that is awsome definitely gonna give it a try

Nice run. So many individual pots to water  did you automate it or hand water? What was the plant count in your tent, and are those 1 gallon pots?
