My hash is green. It doesn't seem that I got that much yield.

So I took all my trim and underdeveloped bud and put it in baggies and straight to the freezer.

Now I took the frozen shit and mixed it good with ice and r.o. water. Poured into bags.
Got very little in bags above 190
And not much yield at all.

My guess is the water wasn't cold enough. In a five gallon setup i use 18lbs.of ice and 2 gallons of water that has been in the freezer for two hours

You were too rough and washed for too long. You want to be as gentle as possible and only wash for 3 -5 min each wash you only want the trichomes heads. Use new Ro water each wash too

You probably grinded your material too which you don't want to do

Did you use something that was literally smashing up your leaf material .......you only want to agitate the material not blend it .....your better off being more gentle and running the material twice than grinding up the leafs

Thanks guys.

So mix it only 3 to 5 minutes?
I saw jorge mix 15 minutes with a cake mixer.
Seen others mixing 15 mins with wooden paddle

Use a wooden spoon. A paint or cake mixer is too rough.

Dry ice method makes low quality keif. Too much contamination.
What if I paint mix for just 3 minutes?

If I do wooden spoon do i need to go for 10 or 15 minutes?

No and no paint mixer . The whole point of using a wooden spoon is to be gentle. You won't get quality by being rough. If you wash for too long, the marerial will get beat up too much.. Wash for 3 -5 min each wash

Okay dude. I just bookmarked your page.
Honestly I'm burned out between work and my first harvest and all the reading I did for that.
I'm going to run my remaining trim using the spoon and just see what happens.

I will read your stuff at another time and look into the finer details of making great quality bubble hash. Thanks for your info.
