bubble hash question

well this is my first post, ive been lurking and learning for some time now.thanks everyone for the the content already here.which brings me to my question,my plant is already in jars curing so now im waiting for my bubble bags to arrive.never made hash before and was wondering about the small loose popcorn buds i decided to just use for hash making.how much do these little guys need to be cut up,can i just put them whole into the bags and process or will i have better results trimming the leaf material off the stems.the stems are quite thin, say no bigger than the lead in a pencil .thanks in advance

I generally let my stuff dry out, freeze it, take it out right before im ready to make the hash give a quick crumble and go to town. Best thing I can say to you is watch some youtube videos so you can see it as it happens. Its not really a "natural" looking or logical processs haha. So it is nice to be re-assured that things are going correctly.

On a side note :
water must be cold as FUCK, i put ice in the bucket and then use a hand blended. You can get that shit right to 32ish degrees

I have been mixing bubble hash for a year now. I have done it with wet, dry, and from the freezer. The trimmings of buds, leaf and all the smaller sticks it's all the same to me. My micron bags are 5 gallon I mix in a 5gal bucket with one bag of ice some water. In the bucket no the bag, It takes about 10 min with the corded drill and contractors mixer. Mixing to colour then strain your mix through the bags. It looks like a slushy beige, not green. Mixing too much brakes apart more plant and the greener the wash will get, witch is not good, I hope this can help.
