Bubble hash question.

I will be harvesting in a couple weeks most likely.

I've found some bubble hash bags on ebay for around 30 bucks.

I'm really looking for opinions and experience on this.

There are 5 bag and 8 bag combos out there.
I'm assuming 8 bags is the way to go.

Only thing I've ever seen was on jorges video.
It seems straigt forward. Swirl the trim in ice water and dump it into the bags...

I'm also thinking of infusing the hash into coconut oil and making edibles that I can sell before my dope is cured.

Please hit me with all the knowledge you got.

try to find bags where the mesh is on the bottom and part of the sides. lets you process material much faster.

keep the lower micron stuff to smoke and make edibles out of the higher micron stuff.

Part 1:
Get 4 5 gallon buckets

Fill one of the buckets with layers of ice and trim

Add water until it becomes stir-able

Stir gently for 5 minutes or so, making different patterns as you stir...

Part 2:
Line one of the buckets with a 220 (or 190) micron bag

Dump the ice water mixture into that bag/bucket...You can also lift up the bucket a little and then drop it back down, bang it on the floor, to loosen the trichomes so that they fall to the bottom and out into the water

Pull the bag out of the bucket and allow the water to drain into the bucket

Part 3:
Dump out the ice, water and trim from the 220 bag and into an empty bucket

Rinse the 220 bag into that bucket

Part 4:
Take the water from Part 2 and pour it into a bucket lined with remaining micron bags

Drain the bags and collect the hash in each bag and set out to dry

Note:
Usually, the 73 and 90 micron bags will give you your full melts...But you can collect and combine the remaining lower-quality, non-melt micron grades, combine them and then use rosin tech to extract a full-melt rosin from them.

That's the one I'm thinking of

So does it matter how much trim i put in the bucket?

I've got 5 overgrown plants filling a 4x4 net. Way over grown

Thank you. What is a full melt?

Can I just take all the hash and cook it into the coconut oil?

Full melt refers to a quality hash that literally melts when dabbed (vaporized) on a nail.

yes, you can cook it gently with coconut oil if you prefer.
