Bubble Hash with PM Infected Buds?

I had to be out of town for three days and powdery mildew ravaged my one plant that was two weeks from the chop. The cola was almost completely covered in the shit, as well as lower buds. I'm considering washing it in diluted H2O2 then rinsing, drying, then making bubble hash. Has anyone done this before? I'm desperate for something decent to smoke; the shit you pay $200 for here is worthless.

I think you have a better chance of turning it into oil through a solvent extraction. Even then, there will still be some mycotoxins that get through. Its probably your best bet.

I agree with all responses at face value but I will also say this:
If you’re over 30 and have smoked since your teens you have definitely smoked bud that had pm. You have any pics of the fungal? Like was it the whole plant and all its buds? You said “the cola” was covered.

Yeah, I've smoked a bunch of weed with PM. I didn't make any pics. Update: I washed the buds and dried them in front of a fan. This morning I took them outside to take a good look. The H2O2 may have killed the PM, but it certainly didn't remove it. It's like a little spider web (not like spider mites) that comes off easily. I have a few buds that I can't see any PM on that are in a net dryer. After they dry for a week or two I'll examine them under a loupe and decide whether to give it a shot or not. There's no mistaking the taste of moldy bud, even on the first toke. I tried handling the buds very carefully but even with that my fingers are like they have contact glue on them.

It should be fine for oil or butter extraction You would not believe the crap they use here to fill legal carts but it passes inspection after cooking.

I’d imagine we all have. If it has botrytis I wouldn’t fudge with it tho. Well at least the buds that are affected.

After carefully inspecting each nug with a loupe, I tried a couple of bowls. I didn't taste any mold but it wasn't very good. I suspect that the golden tint to the water I washed the buds in was trichs. I have a few branches that I examined and did not see any mold on but those are drying in the net dryer. I'll give them a decent drying and try them; hopefully the quality I was expecting will be there, at least to some degree.

A gentle bud wash in water an peroxide does not remove resin heads.
