FIRST GROW SO ANY CONSTRUCTIVE CRITISISM IS GREATLY APPRECIATED

FLIPPED THE LIGHTS 2 WEEKS AGO
TALLER/WIDER ONES ARE THE BUBBLEGUMS AND THE SHORT ONES ARE THE MANTANUSKAN THUNDERFUCKS

SINCE THE TF'S ARE SO MUCH SHORTER THEN THE BG'S I HAD TO RAISE THEM BUT NOW ITS BLOCKING A LITTLE LIGHT FROM THE BOTTOM SECTION OF THE BG'S....WOULD I BE BETTER OFF GETTING A LIGHT TO MOUNT ON 1 OF THE SIDE WALLS OR JUST A COUPLE LIL CFL'S TO PUT TWORDS THE BOTTOM? THANKS

Nice setup and the plants look fantastic. At 2 weeks; This is the perfect time to lollipop your girls, because as you know the lower branches are not getting enough light, and they're only going to produce popcorn.

Lollipopping is just a term for pruning the lower branches so that the plant can focus all of it's energy on producing fat colas on top.

For instance - on the plant in the last pic - I would take off the lowest 3 branches (visible in that shot).

no need to add more lights, and I would give the same advice even if you were using HID lights.

I WAS TOLD BY A COUPLE PPL WHO GROW AS WELL AS THE GUY FROM THE HYDRO STORE IF THIS LIGHT WAS GOOD FOR BOTH VEG AND FLOWER WITH THE SIZE CUBBORD I HAVCE AND WAS TOLD IT WAS PLENTY LIGHT FOR 6 PLANTS AND THAT IF I WANTED TO ADD MORE LIGHT A COUPLE -FEW CFL'S OR SIDE LIGHTS WOULDNT HURT BUT IT WASNT NEEDED ....I COULD ALWAYS CUT OFF THE LOWER BRANCHES BUT ID LIKE TO GET SOME LIGHT TO THEM VIA A SIDE LIGHT(s) OR SOME SMALL CFL'S INSTEAD OF LOLLIOPOPPIN EM? STILL UNDECIDED THOUGH AND THIS THREAD MIGHT HELP ME DECIDE LOL.... I DO HAVE A 6" CARBON FILTER SUCKIN AIR FROM A INLINE EXHAUST FAN THAT DUMPS THE STALE AIR IN MY ADDIC....CUBBORD DOORS HAVE A NICE OPENING AT THE BOTTOM THAT SUCKS FRESH COOL AIRCONDITIONED AIR IN

Another thing i was thinking is i didnt take clones from these when they were in veg so the plan is to harvest but leave a tiny bit of greenery at the bottoms which like mentioned above will only produce popcorn nugs with lack of more light penetrating the lower areas soooooooo if the bottoms of the bg's dont gorw much nugs that might not even be a issue since i plan to stick em right back to veg and have read you are supposed to leave some green and not just stem?

Not sure, I've never re-vegged a plant, but what I would do is take cuttings now, and refrigerate them for future use (within 2 months). Place the cuttings in an air filled bag with 2" watter covering the bottom of the stems and change the water every 2 weeks so it doesn't get slimy.

It's not just that the lower branches won't produce much, but the plants are wasting energy trying to produce down there. Pruning is just redirection of plant energy.

WENT AHEAD AND CUT BACK THE BOTTOM SECTIONS A LIL.....I ONLY CUT BACK THE TINY NODES THAT HAD BARLEY ANY FLOWER FORMING BUT LEFT THE LARGER STEMS THAT BRANCHED OUT AND UPWARD

I ALSO PUT 2 40 WATT 2400K OR MAYBE IT WAS 2700K ?.......THE DIABLO DOOB WITH GDP HASH SPRINKLED IN I SMOKED PRIOR TO THE HOME DEPOT RUN FOGGED MY MEMORY :joint::hump: ...CLAMPED THE 2 CFL'S UP AND THEY LIGHT THE BOTTOM SECTIONS UP PRETTY NICE

ILL UPDATE WITH NEW PICS IN A WEEK OR SO

temps were getting a lil too hot with the 2 clamp style cfl lights in so i took em out.....during winter time they will be a good thing however

would i be better off leaving the thunderfucks on top of phonebooks/box's etc to raise them up to the light like in the pics or should i just put em on the ground like the bg's?
its kind of a pain in the ass with them on top of shit plus they are blocking light as well as space for the bg's...... but i know the lights supposed to be close so im thinkin no right?

am i talking to myself here lol

if they where under hps i would say off plants that size probs 3+ ounces each, im not to sure with the lights you are using though

i would leave them on the ground maybe spread them out as much as u can definetly lolypoping is the best way to go never reveged a plant so im have no idea about that but it just gives me some reaserch to do....not an indoor guy i did try 1 time though they way there lookin i would say 1.5 oz per plant like i said im not an indoor guy just my opinon

pi#1= the thunderfucks are twords the back wall on top of phonebooks/mags/box to lift them closer to the light since there waaaaaaaaaay shorter then the bubblegums that are in the front of the pic
pic's 2 & 3 are of the bubblegums
pics 4 & 5 are of the thunderfucks

goosecomander.......i wasnt sure if i should ditch the "prop up the pots" method im currently doing with the phonebooks and whatnot like in pic 1 so if yall say i can just put them on the ground ill do that cause it will make life easier on my part i just figured it was best to have them closer to the light ...i did cut off a lot off the bottom after these pics,,since then the tops seemed to like that i did that.....,info i gathered from this site was to reveg...stick back in veg light cylce right away....add a little veg nutes...leave some green on the plant...at least those were the main points i remember without looking to the info i copy and pasted....thanks for the help man :joint:

stiffer......i know a hps will yield more and originally i planned to go that route but the cubbord i have them in is perfect temp wise with the 8 tube t5 so if i went with a hps im afraid it would be way to hot sorta deal ya know....thanks for the info :joint:
