Bubbling Water

Hey Folks, I've become a believer in bubbling my water prior to giving it to my girls. Question is : How long will the added o2 stay in the water after bubbling and letting it sit? Thanks

I was under the impression that the oxygen began dissipating instantly, meaning you use the oxygenated water as soon as you remove the stone. They say chlorine totally evaporates within 24 hours, so I'm guessing oxygen won't hang around much longer.

I bubble my teas, I pull the stone and apply it right away though. It is more to make sure I am promoting anaerobic bacteria, but the end result is the same.

Cant you just leave the stone in it until you use it?

O2 will stay in your water for 24 hours.
Any time you disturb water you add O2. When you mix your nutrient solution your adding O2 as you mix it up.
Unless you have a water storage tank you don't need to bubble your water.
If your growing in soil your root system doesn't get it's O2 from the water it gets it from the air.
