Bud Candy HELP...Can't see trichs!..WHAT A STICKY MESS!

Okay..I have a question for anyone that has used BUD CANDY during flowering.

Strain = Short ryders - Auto flowering - Auto Fem

Flowering for 56 Days (from seed/Hydroponics) - Site says they should be ready for harvest between 55-65 days.

Now here is my problem......

I tried "BUD CANDY" this time around just to see what it would do. However the Bud Candy has basically covered my buds and leaves with Sugar Crystals covering most of the Trichs (I AM PISSED)! Now I can not see the Trich's or I am confusing them for the sugar crystals. I have no idea if they are ready for harvest (even looking under a Microscope, all I can see is the sugar on them). Most of the Pistols have turned brown and are receding back into the pods., and look as though my light is drying them out as the tops of the buds pistols are basically evaporating. (I went by what the container recommended to use).

Has anyone used this crappy product before?..and any ideas if I should harvest them now?

For anyone who is considering this Item "BUD CANDY"..stay far,far, far away unless you want a sticky mess on your hands!

If anyone has tried this strain (autoflowering as well)..how long did it take you until harvest (400W HPS).

Any advice?

Yeah I wanted to upload some pics...but my cam will not get close enough without blur..and hard to see.

You may be right...I never used Bud Candy before..so not sure if they produce "Sugar Crystals" on the buds and leaves...Just funny..In no way am I a novice grower....but this product is confusing the shit outta me...maybe it is the strain...cause never grew this strain before..usually stay away from auto flowers..but this time around wanted to try something new.

Maybe I am impatient as I have some Ak's and Master Kush desperately waiting for the HPS light...I had my timing off this time around...so put the AK and Kush under my CFL's to start..thought the short ryders would be done by now to arrange the others into the grow room..kinda stuck..lol

Also with he bud Candy...my res has never been flushed so often..keeps causing Slime on airstone and roots....been flushing/rinsing/changing res every 2 days....Bud Candy and Hydroponics..not a good combo!

or he used bud candy as a foliar spray. if you're not a novice you certainly know what a trich looks like.

Never used as a foliar spray.. Yes I know what Trich's look like...It is because the Trich's are being covered with the sugar crystals and can not see them...I wish I could take pics to show you without blur so it makes more sense...literally..if these are Trichs I would be a very very very happy dude...but they are not...there are literally "CLUMPS" of sugar on the buds.

I have used Bud Candy in the past with excellent results. If you could clear up your camera issues it would help a ton to see the problem. Good luck. Peace.

That's the exact same idea I had about it, one of the reason I stopped using it in hydro. not that it ever did cause issues for me.

Come to think of it..I think I Know the problem that is confusing me... I bought "Bud Candy" off eBay..and when it arrived the seal was broken..starting to think "Bud Candy" that was supposed to be in the bottle was replaced with something else...errrr..never crossed my mind..but perhaps?..prob bought it off some anti-marijuana smoking nun!

the way that shit costs they probably watered it down 75 percent and maximized their profit.

DEf not PM..I cut a top bud off last night..and we got baked from it...(prob the best I have ever played on MW3..lol)

Gotta stop trying to get weight from it..and just enjoy what "I" like I guess. Always reading how many Oz/G's people get..and trying to match...gotta stop doing that as it depends on strain...and makes me Jealous as hell sometimes..lol

Yeah understood...but PM would not be crystalized...it would be more powdery..def big chunks of sugar...

A post about stock size?...interesting...but..umm...why?...put a fan on the plant and stock will be bigger?...I dont understand why anyone would care about a thread on stock size...and I think it is spelled Staulk
