Your start and end dont match you had zero and you had swings.... can you explain
Sorry I ramble lol bud Candy wasn’t causing swings. The flora nectar did. But it could have also been just the overall nute dosage. I was doing 70% of the least aggressive feed schedule. And half the recommended dose of bud candy and flora nectar.
I have had zero root issues with both as in no root rot. There stained. And little almost slime on some roots that aren’t in the water. Second they go in they are clean

What kind of nutes do you use? I feel if you are sterile using those products is useless.
I had bactorr inside and my colonie exploded with molases

Could that be the EC jumps I was seeing? I’m never using the floral nectar again. Using up the rest of the bud candy. Then comparing the numbers. It’s hard to tell because I was dialed in half way through veg using the basic GH trio and floralcious.

Ec jump is probably because plant is eating some nutes and not others or plant is eating a lot less than yiu are giving it.but still drinks water
There is a reason people use chelated nutes in hydro.normally plant cant just uptake nutes

Hello peeps I'm running my rdwc on advanced, I love it. I use it all except the beneficials voodoo/piranha/tarantula. Maybe I should use them but will they give better results for the price. I'd rather run a sterile system tbh. I'm using bud candy can't tell yet as it's only in the second week but they stink as it is, I've been using it in veg as well. Previous to rdwc I used it in autopots and always have had extremely sugary smelly dank. When I don't use it in a different tent and it's consistently not as good as the tent it's used in. Same with bud factor x. A product I've used that's kinda like both products and big bud in one is Rock resonator. Expensive stuff and sometimes not available

You aren't using any beneficials? Bud candy and B52 wont or aren't supposed to work without them. The plants can't uptake carbohydrates without them being broken down first. I know AN says their stuff is all cleated but I don't believe this is the case. So you can't run a sterile system using carbs. FYI factor X is just magnesium. Same results with some epson salt. It's also in Bud Candy, so you can end up with too much Mg and cause lockouts

I just run 'sterile', as it's less variables for me to deal with...

But you can't do both... it's one or the other...if you run sterile and get bad growth in your water, you can nuke it with peroxide or whatever... but peroxide will kill all bacteria, even beneficial bacteria if you are doing an 'organic' grow.
