''But, we are a organic store, it says so in our name" City Organics lol
Im in a non med state, where theres one shop that everyone goes to. Has organics in the name and not one of the workers or even the owner know anything about organic. They try to sell you crappy bottled nutrients along with horrid pesticides. After that they try to get you with all the techy hydro junk. Not one of them knows or cares a thing about anything that implies organic because they cant get nasty forearm sized buds and make their quick buck. Tomfoolery i tell you.

Great!

The Kelp and Fish will go into your mix. Add them in at a 1/2 Cup per cu ft of base mix.

Youre going to need some calcium as well. The feed store should have oyster shell flour, if not, being in FL you live on a bed of limestone, so just go with that. Add in at a 1/2 cup per cu ft as well. Make sure to get ag lime, not dolomitic, the magnesium is wayyyy too high in dolomitie lime. Knocks the calcium out of whack and tightens your soil making it crusty and uninhabitable.

With the fish meal and kelp meal youre set on your npk's. Next thing you need to worry about is your minerals. The feed store youre going to should have some type of rock dust or azomite. This is imo, the most overlooked part of any soil mix.. Dont skimp on them, your plants will really need them for optimal health, especially the ones outside.
Ok, I went to the store, and bought some better potting soil, and got a bag of this Organic food, which has ever thing you said, except for Kelp. The fish Meal at walmart is $2.37 for a tiny bit of about 4oz, It would cost a bunch more than I have for that product. Here is the soil and food I found, what you think of it? I am going to get me some sea weed from the bay, and make me some Kelp Compost, so I will have some in about a year. 005.JPG 004.JPG

I've seen that potting soil around my neck of the woods, I make my own but if I was buying I would give that one a try for sure!

And I've heard of people getting pretty good results with tomato tone, tomatoes feed similar to cannabis except they feed a little heavier in magnesium.

Tomato tone will do. You wont need to add kelp as the tomato tone has sulfate of potash. Not to mention the potassium levels are already pretty high in the tomato tone itself.

The soil mix looks fancy, whats in it?

Ten bucks says composted tree bark, peat, perlite, maybe some vermiculite, and worm castings. Though I would bet the bare minimum of worm castings...I spotted at Lowe's in my area when I was picking up some tomato cages. If I bought pre-made potting soil I'd pick that over the Natures care miracle grow filled poultry manure and feather meal shit.

I pick this up at Walmart, they just got it in, the guy said it is out selling the miracle grow 3 to 1. I guess I should get me a few more bags before it's gone. They don't reorder as often even when they run out. I don't know what that is all about. In the fall they are just about out of everything, and don't order until spring, well it is spring in Florida all the time. lol I have tried explane that to them, but they just don't understand, whoever runs walmart needs a lesson in business, they should carry it all year long. haha003.JPG 002.JPG looks like made from same thing with some wormcasting added. Nothing wrong with Chicken, it is great.

Oh gross it's poultry shit in it too. Oh well...I'm sure it's a decent enough product just out of personal preferences I avoid poultry fertilizer sources. I've never liked them the times I've used them.

I've seen people do good stuff with chicken shit, just a personal preference.
