Bud Drying

Hey guys, just picked up a batch of some Berry Brite. It's awesome stuff but a little wet. I've been drying it by letting it sit on my table rotating it every 15 mins or so. I'm aware that the best way is to hang it but I haven't the luxury of being able to do that. Just a quick question, does light/oxygen break down the thc in my buds? Thanks guys:]

Put it in a paper bag for a few days it will allow it to dry slowly but still breath enough to prevent mold

Best way to cure buds are to hand them in a worm dark area, so yea light isn't good, use a bread bag twisty tie and just tie it up somewhere dark since u say you don't " have the luxury" of hanging. It will take almost a week before its even ready for stage two! After its hung for almost a week u can do the final trimmings on it break it up into chucks and then u need to cure it for 12 hours in an enclosed space and 12 hours in an open space.

Use a mason jar u can twist lid off and on as needed

This process of drying and curing could take longer than hang drying, you'll know it's ready when you go to open the container and the buds are not moist anymore..

I know your probably wanting to smoke up but if you follow this procedure your are going to be experiencing a much smoother much more potent smoke.. Just saying

Even if u didn't grow it my post said how to finalize the process with mason jar, 12 hours jar closed 12 hours jar open for as many days needed till the bud is no longer wet when u upen the jar after 12 hours, then you can keep it closed to keep it fresh and not worry bout it getting all brittle and nasty harsh
