Purple genes plus low temps is what's going on. When the rootzone drops below 60F, they start to put on a show. Some people say purples have an earthier/cat piss taste, but, I've actually ran into quite a few different really great tasting purple strains. I guess it's sort of a personal preference.

Can't give you any info about harvesting without some pics.

Nice! Purps always have some nice bag appeal, a purple cheese would be nice, been smoking regular cheese as my daily lately.

I just grew some 710 cheese from seed. Temos at night were around 65 water temps even lower. There's definitly some noticable purple throughout the buds and was on the leaf stems.

Don't have any pics of them dried completly. They are curing in the jar and don't want to be disturbed. This was one plant and under a lot of light for sure but the yeild was huge. Got close to 3-4 ounces will weigh once cured

Agree 100% on low temps bringing out the blue & purple on all strains , i leave my lights on temps mid 70's durring the 1st 6 weeks & the last 2 weeks of flower drop lights off temps at or below 60 degrees , my rez goes down as far as 52 degrees from being burried below ground & it really brings out the color .

Try & keep lights on temps within the 70 to 80 degree range though , too cold 24/7 & it stunts growth .

cold temps during the lights of i have to go with, not all purple strains coulour just through temps.

Some have the coulour in the genetics just the make up of some strains, like the one below natural purple pheno

Yes tyke that's kind how some of my buds look but bigger and alil less purple. And to all who must know my night temps where 56-58f and my day temps where as low as 76f mostly keep at 80with using a box fan I had it down to 76 a couple times.

Anyways here are a cpl bud pics however I have a shitty camera vivitar so it doesn't take very good pics burry and dark without the flash on you put the flash on and the pic now is bright but pretty blurry.

Hard to see everything but I can assure everyone this is no brick weed or lowgrade homegrown
