Bud rot or purple bud?

The top of one of my highest buds has turned purple. Even the leaves pokin out. I was sure it was bud rot til i seen other pix but now Im thinkin it might just be the bud. Its a bag seed from a mix bunch so Im not sure of strain. Hopin maybe someone here can help. Should I pick it off or let it be?

Well if you do pick it off...I had someone top one of my buds a couple weeks ago..that sucker kept growing and got really fat.. just like when you top a young plant. haha

if not, what the guy above me said is right, i broke one of my plants this year right when it started to get alot of flower, then it made 2 nice colas, bud is a little behind, but i will probably have more now

Thats funny because I picked at a few buds kinda tuff an they split into 2 and kept growing. I guess Ill leave it for now and jus see what happens.

Dawg, if it's rot, when you pull on it or touch it with ANY force, it'll just fall apart...if it still feels like normal plant material, it's probably just purple

if the bud is purple and the rest of the plant is not it very well could be a nutrient deficiency or too much of something.if it was meant to be purple then the stems would be purple as well or at least have some indication of purple elsewhere on the plant.I think it might be a P deficiency.you can look it up on the forum.
