Bud rot

Your original post was spot on- try a bit of all of the above. H202 - a cup or so in a small bucket of tap water has been very effective for me- i soak in there for a few minutes, swish around under water, wet trim and rinse off right under the running tap, then drain dry and put right next to a high speed fan for a couple days. Mold doesn’t survive. Generally this will have to be done with the whole harvest, but you can keep going with less affected areas in the grow to the finish line, but everything needs a wash of some kind if budrot is in the grow

I found a tiny bit on one bud of my outdoor girls. Im in the northeast and this time of year is a nightmare with the rain and humidity. I spray hyd peroxide 3%. 1 cup of water with 1 tablespoon. I spray the buds, leaves, everything. It works for me.

I’d take it down early unless you have a dry indoor environment to finish it on its own-so it doesn’t infect any other plants.
Better early over rotten.

Plan for next year by forcing flower earlier and plan for shelter if that will help.

Pretty common this time of year.

Im in the northeast too. I have some autos outside that have 2 weeks left and man all this rain and humidity has been a bummer. Found my first spots of bud rot today on just one. I cut out the piece sprayed the area with peroxide solution and hopefully it wont spread. I notice my marigolds when they drop their flowers the flowers start to rot and those are close to my cannabis plants. Im wondering if the rot on the flowers from the marigolds is the same stuff that causes the bud rot in the cannabis. I should move them away from the marigolds Im thinking now.

I’ve been through the wringer with bud rot; it’s a never ending battle. Once mold sets in that’s pretty much it. You’ll see it more in the largest colas where airflow cannot reach to the stems. Not much you can do except remove the affected area. I usually just let everything dry to finish and then cut off the “bad” buds. The healthy buds that look ok can be dried as normal and will smoke but do not try to cure/dry/smoke anything that is in close proximity to the moldy shit.
In an effort to salvage what I can I usually try to cut off the most obvious moldy parts and fucking blast the healthy looking bud that’s left over into BHO but that’s just me. This may not be a healthy choice & I don’t advise anyone to ingest or smoke moldy weed.
If mold is a recurring thing in your garden take a look at ways to mitigate it: I have added another dehumidifier inside my bloom room and upgraded with newer oscillating fans to improve airflow and lower RH. Also have been trying to train plants with several smaller tops as opposed to large long “corn cob” colas …they breed mold. No donkey dicks…trying to grow ping pong size nuggets.

Put a bag over the affected colas when u cut em try to minimise shaking the plant about as much as u can too this is to minimise spreading spores about on a side note no nothing fixes mould imo bin it dont smoke it rest of the plant should be ok hopefully
