Bud rot

Hey guys found a caterpillar eating a bud and making a mess so I cleaned out all the area it looked like it had been. I’m wondering if I have to chop the whole bud or if I cleaned it enough to not be a problem.

Get rid it and spray with peroxide. Then pray.
Would it be safer to just cut the top off and anything that might’ve been close to it? I got everything that was directly touching it and have sprayed it but I’d rather not have to pray lol if I chopped the rest of everything in that pic would it be guaranteed or still just chancing it?

I found a couple worms eating the buds in my outdoor plants, I cut those buds off and discarded them. I fed the bud worm to my hens (: They left telltale signs that the had been munching my plant, all the hairs on the buds they got to gone or very very short and leaves with a lot of holes. It took me some time, but I inspected every plant and found three worms out of six plants. I have preventatively sprayed spinosad every 7-10 days all season too:weed::peace:

Same here. Past few years I don't think I've seen any worms by doing maintenance regularly. Used to hand pick 'em off before
