Bud rot??

hey everybody im almost done with my first grow about 2 more weeks left.
How do i know if i have bud rott? when i smell my buds they dont smell like marijuana..they smell kind of skunky rotten smell? Is that normal?
Is buds suposed to smell like bud even while its still planted or does it start smelling like bud after i cure? THank eveyrone

i lost 3 plants to bud rot a week ago - not nice.

If you have any dying small leaves on your bud give 'em a pull. if they come away easily and the base is covered in fuzz then you may have bud rot and should examine the bud carefully. any bud that is affected will be very mushy and discoloured.

I agree and Ive also found in large tight areas with lots of plant
with no air moving under the plants is bad to thats why I like to lollypopp
mine to keep it clean, also there are molds that are invisible intel
its to late.

I have 4 plants all blueberry, and one of them has very dark purple, almost black leaves around the buds. I got a little mould on one of my plants on the last grow. I don't think These dark leaves are mould but a friend of mine thinks it is.

Anyone have any ideas? Camera is broke so cant get pics.

After reading Al B fucts "Get a harvest every 2 weeks" Iv decided to begin growing blueberry & im planning on using the lollipop method, can you give me advice on lollipoping as I dont have clue on to begin the process. Thanks Hellraizer.

I too am growing blueberry can you give me any tips & pointers in terms of environment, growth & anything else which maybe helpful to me. Thanks.
