bud rot?

my mate has put his buds in a kilner jar but has forgot about them. now he has fine cotton wool fibres attached. is this bud rot and how can it be dealt with? he as now took them out the jar to continue drying or is now too late?

They are screwed. Don't smoke mold. It can make ya sick.

You could make bubble hash possibly

as stated you can do many thing's but to little avail! with bubble hash the mold spores are as small as the tric's so no good!I'm afraid in this field you can not be sloppy...you have to pay the price for neglict...Know you won't do this again as the loss is awful after doing thing's properly..too loose a crop is devistating don't give up but pay attention to the detail's and enjoy what you grew! wish the new's was better but probably a total loss...cut away any rot and continue to dry and smell for mold..next time use sns217 before flowering (BE PROACTIVE) and even if nyou screw up it may save the day!!Mold spores are in all air and wait for condition's to be right and grow...over 65% humidity, wet plant's, too slow of a dry(no circulation of air) ect...sns217 will help plant's to avoid any mold or mildew but must be done in vegative two or three time's! good luck on saving at least a portion of you bud! jack
