I grew Waikiki Queen, Feminized years ago, what a SUPER HUGE HARVEST. I had two buds/a nickle sized bud rots. Man did it feel really nasty. I've been researching this problem on line. Evidently Calcium deficiencies is the culprit. AK-47, G13-HAZE, and Waikiki Queen are on my agenda. I gave a friend some G13-HAZE, he said " I wasn't expecting that, he grew that !!"

What happens is when the bud gets thick, the rain, dew and just general humidity get in there and don't dry out. If you are not in the bush, put some fans on your girls. Shake them good after a rain. Pray for a warm dry fall.

Clip any rot out that you see. Spray area with H2O2.

to avoid confusion add in the variables like this a scientific experiment by showing your info.

airflow.---circulation?
light?day/night cycle?
temp? day/nightcycle?
humidity? daynight cycle?

you will get a good idea of what ur variables are with this info

Since that grow a dehumidifier and 100 CFM airflow. No other hybrid I've chosen has had that problem. My grows now 37-50% humidity 75-80° F.
The next endeavor by the way is# EIGHT. Let's all just get happy ✌

Prayers were not answered here in the Pacific Northwest. It's one of the worst bud rot seasons I can remember. 90% humidity overnight and we might get our first frost almost two months ahead of average Monday or Tuesday. Outdoor growers here are suffering. It should help with the six years supply glut of weed we have. But that's of no comfort to the home grower that grew their four plants and have watched them get covered in bud rot and PM. That's why I'm mainly an indoor grower.

It's number 7 /grows ✌ I've chosen my hybrids accordingly, no more 12 week flower period LOL. Humidity out of control/airflow is my bet✓✓. Calcium/pH is My second.

It helps to go easy on the fertilizer on your outdoor plants. Yeah your buds wont get as huge but at least they dont rot and burn your throat when you smoke it.

Not my Colas LOL I prefer more research into hybrid problems. I don't like problems and now choose wisely Says Genetic problems Breeders should correct the problems. Waikiki is grown mainly in Jamaica, so many different conditions there.

Does your research including listening to people with many years experiance or is it just stuff that floats into your head?


So no confidence in your ideas to test it on your own bud huh? Says all that needs said about how much you believe in yourself.

Yes it does. I've stated no more hybrids with a genetic problem, there's too many better hybrids out there.

Last grow G13-HAZE.
Looks taste smell beautifully, and most importantly the stone. Here's a pic of my last. The small nuget in the background is all that's needed for hours. That my Cannibis friend says how I roll.

Bro if it makes you feel better I have a couple 8ft tall plants that catapillars took a dump in and are full of rot. Im not even gonna take them down, just let them sit there for a few months and see how fucked up they get then leave it out for the deer.

NEVER consume moldy ass bud. Improper storage , bad air exchange , high humidity , and other conducive conditions.

MOISTURE.....

Plants DON’T purposefully rot on there own .... environmental conditions do. You can dump as much calmag , pixie dust and whatever to plant and that will not solve anything.

This is a grow room or uncontrollable outdoor issue........... A “ grower “ issue that is completely
correctable especially indoors. Even when , jarring buds . TOO WET , No burping to exchange air.

Clean your areas also ....

If being able to mold is a genetic defect then every pretty much the whole world outside rocks and minerals is totally fucked genetically....

Just sayin...


The things this guy comes up with from thread to thread..



It simply comes down to controlling the environment when inside and a roll of the dice outside.

Some strains have a natural resistance to some pests or fungus but the differance is pretty minor
