That's true, but why do you actually leave that stuff onto your plant throughout the whole grow in the first place? I'm pretty confident that a leaf dusted in sand isn't able to photosynthesis as efficient as a clean leaf does.True, but one can argue that 10-12+ weeks of dirt, dust, bacteria, mold spores, and whatever else is much more than 1 week.
Or you don't know how some of the stuff makes its way into the plant, or gets glued to the trics while they form etc pp and then perhaps you won't be able to remove it even under a post-harvest bath.
And if you already keep your plant clean during its living phase there's maybe no more need for a post-mortem bath?
