Buddha's dream sin city

Looking good brah and way to keep on the journal. I'm interested to see what your plants finish like.

I have a landrace Malawi strain that smells like celery and/or parsley. I never get compliments on the smell, but the effect is good and a couple people get it from me all the time just for the effect.

And your old avatar was cool, but it's cool to see someone rocking a "Bloodsport" one. I really liked that movie and haven't seen it in years. I wonder if it's as good as I remember it from being a kid.

I used to flipping love this movie, as a kid I thought Frank Dux (supposedly Blood Sport was a true story based on this guy's life) was a bad ass but I researched him as an adult and it turns out the guy is a big liar. There is no evidence to support any of his claims besides being in the army. But I'll still rock this movie anyday of the week.

My last avatar was Michael from American Ninja, and old ass 80's ninja movie. Ninjas were hugh in the 80s. lol. Cheers and thanks for checking out the grow, more to come.

Well friday will be the two week mark on 12/12, but the first week is more transition than flower... so really they just started flowering this week. I change the reservoirs tonight 30 ml micro, 15 ml grow, 30 ml bloom, 10-12 ml cal/mag total for roughly 3.5-4 gallons of water. I was going to snap some shots while they were under the cfl light but I rushed through the change before my stoned ass remembered to snap shots. Opps, not like a whole lot of followers any way.

The flowering plant's canopies are all about the same height, about 20-24 inches below the hps. While moving the two taller sativa phenos, I got a great whiff of #1 and boy does she have the hazy fruit funk on her. #4 Didn't have any noticeable smell when sitting next to #1. I didn't get any interesting smells lifting either of the indica phenos either. So fingers cross the others get fruity once the buds show up because I'm not looking forward to vegetable tasting weed. lol.

The clones have all busted roots. Though I should have started giving the clones a mild veg solution sooner because they did yellow up a little, but I fed them tonight. The critical dream star also got a reservoir change and a bump in nutrients to 12-15 ml micro, 10 ml grow, 15 ml bloom (Gh three part) for about 4-5 gallons of water. The Rigel (short name for the critical dream stars) are getting up to speed and so far show zero appearance traits of the buddha's dream male. These look very much like the one of the critical sensi star mothers with the similar leaf patterns. I'll grab pictures tomorrow before the lights kick on full blast. Cheers.

Well, I snapped a few shots as soon as the hps kicked on so first picture is nice and clear but it gets redder and bright in the following photos.

This is left side, #1 and #2.

Here is right side, #3 and #4.

Here's a lower shot to give perspective as to their height and distance from light. Without this semi scrog these two BDs would nearly be 12" from the light (well they'd be at least 10" taller for sure), right now all plants are at least 28" from the light so that gives them 16" of stretch till they're in the hot zone. Since plants are almost two weeks in flower, I assume the stretch is 50% complete and the vertical growth will be spent on bud formation.
#4 leaf.jpg
Here is a groups shot to show the canopy spread, the tent is 57"x57" or 4 foot 9 inches. Even though I didn't top the suspected indica dom. plants, they are doing a good job of evening out their own canopies but they do leave a couple gaps in the canopy because the don't spread out as much as the satties.
#1 leaf.jpg

Plants are nice and green but they did get very minor tip burns from the nutrient increase in the previous post so I added some water today. Cheers.

At day 15ish of flower and #1,2,4 have started producing visible resin but my phone camera blows. I'll snap some photos in a few more days. Cheers.

Nice work Eso, they are looking real nice! Sorry you haven't had many people commenting. I for one am keen to see how they go, you've got them well dialed in mate :)
So what traits did you use to pick the male BDto use? I'm going through a final cross for a breeding project I've been doing for a few years and struggling to pick the male as the 3 I have all have the traits I want....too hard to choose ha ha,

I only had two males out of the first five BD seeds I popped back in 2013 and I basically just picked the last of the males to show his sacks. Although it did have the skinnier haze leaves and nice node spacing. It was a nice looking male but I'm still waiting to see how his genes transfer. I can say that all of the seedlings of the cross I'm running look nothing like the father in any way, they definitely look just like the critical sensi stars. Thanks for stopping by.

How the hell I miss this lol didn't know you was logging it over here too. Glad cus it's dead over there right now. Don't know why but not many people posting over there but it's all good. Looking great and I think you may have found a male that lets the mom shine through. I guess you will find out the more seeds you pop but that's what it seems like so far. Keep up the great work bro

I should be getting a new ushio 600 watt hps bulb in the mail tomorrow, $55 bucks free shipping from amazon. Hopefully the bulb isn't fucked from shipping but fuck paying $89-99 for it from the local shops. I just did a water change and number #1 is a funky smelling girl. The plants are get huge and their roots are white and healthy. I tried to get pictures but my camera on my old none hooked up phone is shit. I'll try to land a real camera when the buds start looking choice.
