After my 30 years of experience, there is no problem it's the strain some strains that i have had have flowered with 24 hrs light. If u check on any strains that have the word early in the begining of thier name, u cud read and it siads that they flower early with even 24 hrs of light .

Alot of plants can show early flower even Northen lights. Is this a pure NL strain from a breeder or some possibility of mixed strain from a bag? Eitherway plants can preflower which gives the sex appearence early.

i just looked at my g-13 and romulan and there both flowering as well so i dont think it is the strain. the only thing i can think it is that i have a three part nut system of micro, veg, and flower that i mix in equal parts. so i have stopped putting in the flower. if anyone has some ideas it would really help.

some strains will bud even under 24h. this is simply genetics. cannabis flowers two ways, by the change in the photoperiod, and the plant senced autmn is coming. ie sativas, which have a longer flowering season will tend to show their preflowers earlier and even start forming buds (early mid summer in outdoor depending on climate and location) and go late into the fall. doing this for thousands of years has packed it into the genes of the individual. im not as familiar w/NL as i wish i was. aloha

edit - to answer your question though the plant should revert back to veg since the photoperiod doesnt (autumn) change. unless you change it

the other thing i thought it could be is i told the person at the hydro shop to give me 6500 cfl bulbs but i think he may have given me 3500 which are used for flowering

 they are pre-flowers, any good grow book will tell you about them, they are described in detail in the book "marijuana botany" by robert connell clarke, they are pistillate or staminate premordia, this is completely normal and they are not going to fully bud only if you go to 12/12, they are just showing sexual maturity, this is supposed to happen, most new grow books now say you should not flower a plant untill it shows preflowers.Preflowers show regardless of photo period it's normal there is no problem...I can upload some pages from my books if it will make you feel better....:joint:
