I told her that I was planning on starting a recall. And I've got quite a few locals ready to help. She just said that it was my right as a citizen.

I admire civic action. Anti-Complacency League, baby! And all that. This is serious business, but if I dn't joke around a bit, I get too dark.

Sometimes I can't understand why there aren't serious protests in this Country, like in London yesterday. We need to get things straight before its too late. I just hope it isn't too late already.

It's late alright. There are quite a few protests organized, but they haven't gotten much media attention. I PERSONALLY believe that with the American mindset and a sweeping anti-gov't movement, we will find ourselves in another civil war, if you can call war civil. Too many people are tied up with their vehicles, homes, popular tends, etc to wake up and see what's going on. I do believe however that when the first shot is fired, it WILL be war. The scary part for me is looking at all the capabilities that our military has. Of course, the military is not supposed to be used against the American public, but if you are a "terrorist", ........

And as for sense of humor, I've been accused(rightly so) of having gallows humor. I do it for the same reason. If I don't I'll go stark-raving mad.

I've been expecting the same, for some time. America has been ideologically split for a while...and it just gets more entrenched. We are in a world of hurt, and the people we elected to sort it out aren't focusing on working things out. They are playing games with eyes fixed on re-election. It's insane to think the political dialog has any merit. It's a clown act, for the most part. The few sincere voices are mocked, and the media is profit driven and seems totally mercenary. Yet, the same silly claptrap and arguments rattle on...and the public parrots the bullshit.

Meanwhile, Big Military and Big Corporate Business steal from us the last of our liberties...and work to solidify the fast setting concrete of a burgeoning police state. This place is almost unrecognizable. I don't know where it leads, but nobody is going to want to be there.

Secondly, I wanted to duplicate your grow in a tupperware container, but I couldn't find the lights you were talking about on the walmart website. I'm running 6 CFL's abour 5k to 6.5k wavelength on each bulb. The CFL's are so hot though and wouldn't work in a tupperware container i imagine. Take it easy

I've seen it done with cfl's as well, the key is the placement of your vents and what cfm your fan is(and of course, ambient temp). A couple of schools of thought that I've heard of. #1) Vent as I did on a straight through, level plane and you maximize your airflow, moving the largest volume of air possible. #2) Place your vents on opposite corners, say back, top, right corner and @ opposite end, front bottom right if that makes any sense at all. I'll draw a quick sketch tomorrow and post here. My inside temps as I have it set up not are only a couple degrees higher than ambient. The lights are made by Lights of America but I've found very little useful info about them on the net. I kind of think it's a different manufacturer that makes/packs for Walmart. I've seen identical higher wattage tubes at my local nursery but didn't even look at the name.

Well, hear I sit with pie on my face. Since I purchased them, they have evidently gotten a decent online presence. Quick google search found their website and the light I have is the one at the bottom of the page. Funny part is this is as direct as you can buy them and at $12.80/ea they are about $1 more expensive than at Walmart. I couldn't find it on their site, but they never show all items since some things are in-store only meaning you have to go in and pass those yummy roasted chickens!

Strep doesn't affect your typing! lol Sorry, I just had a little Sativa dessert. Hope you feel better. I actually need to update. I have tranplanted, a few seeds along with those clones, set up a temporary mother closet, etc. Just been busy with getting ready to move.

wow , where did you learn all this stuff? How long did it take you get this good? I'll wait patiently on a sketch or something in a few weeks for a tuppaware setup. I have heard a lot of people talk about using computer fans for airflow, but so far I haven't reasearched how to power them. I've been sitting in front of my computer and reading some history on weed laws. Ever hear of reefer madness? OR have you seen the commercial for weed legalization? It was aired 4/20/09, but I didn't start smoking weed till summer of 09. Society and parents had me all brainwashed!

You can power computer fans by cutting the ends off of old cell phone power cords (or some other cords you don't use) and rewiring them, really easy.

Basically strip the wire ends, put hot to hot and ground to ground then twist them together, tape with electrical tape to prevent shorts, and plug it in. Takes like 5 minutes or so.

Yeah, it's a LOT of info to gather, but it's not that hard. I learned a little electrical helping dad around the house(and getting zapped a couple times in life). Most everything you need can be found right here. Be wary of legal advice found ANYWHERE on the net though.

Thanks, that sounds so easy then even I (who has no electrical experience) could do it.

Hello ,i am back from holidays with family and not sick anymore. Happy new years!!! How is your grow doing?

I hear you on the laws thing, however I was just looking up how and why it was originally banned. Reefer madness is a film that is retardedly exaggerates how being high affects you. It was made ot scare parents or something like that. One teen even shot or killed them selves.

Anyhow, there is so much info to absorb and this forum is useful, but it doesn't always point you in a clear direction. Can I still copy your Tupperware design and use my cfl's? Want to see my baby and current ghetto setup?
