Budmaster cobx4 grow in 3x3 veg,possibly flowering under the same light n tent

Have my 3x3 up and running along side the 4x4 wish I had bought the 2nd cmh the other week when I had spare cash floating about. All my other lights look dull as fuck..
 
I was emptying out the dead bodies from the last crop today and noticed how my roots are mainly in one lump half the pot was just coco may be this is why I didn't have such a good run, going for smaller pots this time,I bet I've thrown away as much coco as I have bought over the years, so as well as smaller pots, I'm using the eco thrive coco and normal coco mixed up, a little of something is better than nothing. Also decided to run 2 mystery plants in a 2x4 scrog and a choco kush and a c99 just doing their thing in the rest of the space obviously I'd have to keep the others at the same height as the scrog for light reasons, have kept the other c99, choco kush and mystery plants in a separate veg tent for cuttings and later use. Looking forward to the next few weeks growth.

Yeah I like cmh, I do think the agro lamp is total shite compared to the daylight lamp. Even in flowering.

Saying that I just find growing easier and better under metal halide, than I do hps. The daylight lamp covers most of what you need, plus the 2nd highest peak in the spectrum is at 630nm. A no brainer for me.

If I did a big grow with cmh even using 10+ lamps.. All 10+ would be the daylight lamp.

Yeah but I heard shes some degradation rate but ill eventually probs give em a go


Correction its the heast 10% less than other hid rype lights
 
@THCBrain Get that coco recycled fella, it gets better with age. I recycle mine and the pile does slowly go down but it can be used over and over. Reason I recycle originally is I see a lot of the stuff dumped in local parks and forests, I don't want to dump it nor do I want to get busted getting rid of it so I just siv it and reuse. Some of mine is 5 years old (ish) But I hadnt seen a calcium deficiency for a long time, except for this last grow because I upped my pots to 18ltr cloth pots and needed to buy some fresh when potting up.
I took about a year out from growing, at that time I chucked 100-200 ltrs of coco, sure wish I hadn't done it now.

Also try cloth pots. The root zones are crazy with all that air pruning

For me, I used the maxibright kits. Those ballast run seriously hot. Like way hotter than 600w mag ballast or any digital. Yet you put a clip on fan on them and they seem perfect. I would actually worry they are a fire hazard without a clip on fan aiming at the ballast. Strong statement, but that was one of the main reasons why I sold them. Did 2 grows then knocked them out on fleabay. Got 60% of my money back which made me better off than buying more lamps, plus had a shit load of weed from them. A good buy I think to lose £150 lol

But yeah, the lamps are like £90 man... f*ck that!
 
Here an ol update..the exo isnt as viny as id heard they all have tight nodes and pretty buds forming but I though id see since they're pretty short (as id intended) ao ove put 1 of each cut supported one 3 pots..small pots,dont wanna toast em

Im only using canna mono mag to foliar feed in the future...ahould of diluted it better cuz fucking white specs about the oldwr hrpwth when I foliar sprayed....lesson learned

God dammit I need a bigger tent for my comparison was thinking a 4x4 but 1.5 is pretty much the samr Screenshot_20170506-094338.png price Screenshot_20170506-094402.png after my tent collapsed last run I wanted the thickest poles possible so I went with these now ill get the 1.5 but then ive to get a new mountain air filter n fans n what not...may go with an 8" fan this time but that means 8" duckling and nore fans but ill wait till I vrop n buy bit by bit
 
Mountain air filters are thw only ones ill ever use 3 YR warranty and no odor n that was a great recommendation from Mastergrow @ master grower did they take all ur setup?

They took all the good stuff lol. Just what was in the room really, still got most the gear that took me to that point tho.
You'd be surprised how much bigger the 1.5 seems, I've still got one but ur not gettin it lol

How much wattage are u gonna stick in that 5 x 5?
My mate uses 2600 watts of HPS in one with great results.
9 plants in hydro
60 + O's.
You'll do some damage in one of those! Lol

See thats the thing in order to make it even I need the same space so id put the cx in there n put the plants closer together as it does have a 5x5 capacity but recommended for the 4x4 possible

No worries I stick with the lighthouse max with its 25mm poles no plastic all metal frame shes holding my mountain air n 6 fan cobx9(pretty heavy and two cobx4s so shes the tent ill be getting was more interested with the filter but ill get that from the hydroponicstore.ie when I crop
