your gonna see better results then your son, hps vs flouro is a no contest. Also i have done both 24-7 and 18-6 grows and plants actually respond better to 18-6. Just like any life cycle they need some time of rest, the 6 hours is their time to sleep. They will not take advantage of those extra hours with 24-7 because its not in there life cycle. Imagine working 24 hours a day and when you finally reach your point of exhaustion you have a flashlight in your eyes while you try to pass out.
