So im at 6 weeks flower with 8 week harvest and the buds are starting to fall over from weight but most are still upright. The ones that i've tried to save are very delicate and it will snap on you with just a touch.. not completely off but where its kinked and water comes out of the stalk. What do you suggest i do with this kinked buds?? Can I just cut all the tops off the whole garden and lower the lights. I've seen people do this but wanted some personal input.

1. Put stakes in your pots
2. Zip tie buds to stakes
They should be fine. My buds starting leaning at about 4 weeks in on a 9 week strain, I ziptied them up and they're doing great. It's also really beneficial because it allows the lower budsites to get more light because of how far they stick out

They'll get much bigger in the last few weeks of flower! You decrease yield and potency greatly by early harvesting!

Find a way to support those buds!!!

Ive got this pheno of white russian going right now that is toppling down on itself. Ive got stakes and these awsome little hangers from hydrofarm holding up branches and my colas are leaning sideways. Plants falling down means your doing it right.

Week 7 of flowering, I usially stake my colas in week 4 or 5 with bamboo sticks. I picked up these hangers and went back and pulled up all of my branches that were pointing to the ground and put them in openings to get more light. Get some bamboo sticks to start with. there dirt cheap and so handy.

Just try to get your snapped branches in a more upright position. You will know in 24 hours if they are damaged beyong repair.

I remember a post just recently where someone said silica additives were a waste, I don't think so.

My first grow i had problems with branches snapping. It was blue dream. Heavy colas and around week 7 branches started snapping left and right.

It fucking sucked. Main thing i learned was to build a stronger steam. Now a days a barely have any broken branches. In fact my steams these days having a bouncing effect, i can bend them down (a little) and they bounce right back up. Do you use silica? do you foliar spray? these will help build a better stalk !

just started using a foilar spray. I also didn't have a consistent fan on them throughout the whole grow.

when using the fan , try to get an "indirect" airflow going, you don't necessarily have to have the fan blowing right on the plants
