The tops are really spindly there's no heads forming either and they are the ones closer to the lights ... the bottom buds which aren't close to the light are the ones that seem to be forming somehow but I just can't see any growth and haven't for weeks and weeks ... it's so frustrating ...

Did you transplant her before this happened? Try posting pics with lights off so we can see the plant better.

Yes you can post pics not a problem he was giving you +rep because u actually posted a picture with your question most ppl post questions with no pictures and suspect a answer right away you did nothing wrong as for the plant IDE keep it a couple more weeks just in case

I dont think its just the strain..those dont even look halfway done. There are sativas that take like 16-18 weeks to flower but theyre too expensive and impractical for most to grow indoors so its highly doubtful a strain like that just happened to be in circulation among growers around you, especially without the person you bought them from telling you so.

Are your timers okay? Have you peeked in to see that the dark period is still a full 12 hours each night? I ask because a while back, a friend of mines battery went out on his timer around week 2 or 3 of flower. The lights stayed on but never went off. He would just go in during normal light period (not knowing there was no dark period) and started noticing the plants buds werent progressing. They looked a lot like yours.

Anyhow,if it isnt something to do with the timer screwing up..I would probably trash them. I know that sucks but theyre not really doing anything except using up your time and resources, and there is no guarantee that youll have much bud in the end. Best of luck to you

Im with bustin on this, trash. If you dont want to you could try some drastic action.
Cut out almost all N?
Deleaf?
I dont know if been suggested but have you checked your ph from run off?
whatever you do if you have other plants that need more light id move that one out of their way.
good luck man.

Thanks guys, timers all good and they were in circulation clones and clones of them so lots of growers have bought them. I don't know if they are having the same problem. Taking a while longer than the other strain isn't the problem but will they grow that's what I'm concerned about :)

Just found out the same strain other growers have are all growing well. Apparently I wasn't putting in any nutrients to kick the buds in like super bud but have grown with A and B grow previously and all has been good. Have cut all the tops off and waiting to see if anything will happen but seriously I see no growth it's like they've just stopped. Will wait another week until I pull it down and count my losses. Could just be that I had bad luck this time round.

Read what I posted man. A K deficient plant will slowly retard bud growth and slow everything down. I would highly recommend feeding them a complete NPK.

Some plants love nutes some don't. You gotta to learn to read your girls, they will tell you exactly what you want.

If other people aren't having this kind of problems with this strain then I would really start looking into your setup and feeding them like I suggested.
